I remember this very well.....recorded it myself on Eurosport. Back in those days with no internet , recorded every MX that was shown on TV ! I still have all those tapes some where.
In those dark wintermonths it was always nice to watch some SX from germany.
@wernikd i remember doing a one hand peace sign while my buddy Pentti Puhakka was beside me in the air doin a funky Decoster cross-up 1n 1980 at aldergrove aptly named track called "Bouldergrave "in a photo and thinking we were the shit,i guesswe were the shit....s lol
you have to have evolution and there was 50 years of it before even 1994.This was (in 1994) a precurser to FMX as we know it today.DID THEY EVER HAVE JUMP OFFS BEFORE THIS? ask EVEL KNIEVEL
keravankaula is a fuking squid, says its lame compared to todays riders. well no shit moron, but wasnt lame back then, seeeng as u never raced or could race pro, means your a sideline moron, a slow piece of crap
@OsamaBinLadenx why in this age do we always have to get so infuriated at peoples opinion,or when we give an opinion have to be so inflammatory and denigrating to other people. when did we start thinking this is so cool?
Every one of you guys that talk shit will never be a AMA pro. The bikes were not as good and tracks back then were not groomed like today.Period !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well then u r really critical because the only tricks back then were that guy that invented the heel clicker and mcgrath throwing down supermans and nac nac. there was a few dudes doing candy bars as well. not much else that was documented at that time anyway.
@keravankauhu could you do that in 1994 and jump that far...on that particular jump at that particular time? in front of those people?.....idont think so,maybe in your local gravel pit? (do they have those anymore?) but i know what you mean....it is soooo lame only when compared with nothing earlier in time frame than 1994.
I see #2 does a bit of a whip,who was #2 by the way
