How do you make this fire&smoke mod animate effects so smoothly? In my game both versions produce both effects terribly and it looks like animation are switched too fast and not smooth enough.

Nothing you say here is true. The Leopard 2 has a 12 cylinder diesel engine, it is not the same as the m1a2. The Leopard has better electronic systems than the m1a2, doesn't require the ridiculous logistics chain that the m1a2 does, doesn't produce the gigantic heat signature of the m1a2. In fact, 4 stroke reciprocating diesel engines are being considered for future US tanks to get away from the needy turbine engines.
