  • you need a switch so you can turn your alarms off! but good vid!

  • Looked like fuel was introduced slightly before reaching 18%

  • the sound of engine out audio and the another is agnation spark

  • Congratulations! This is the first one I´ve seen who follows the list and keep the caution breaker in, a lot of people pull it out since its sound it´s annoying, but it´s better to know it works properly.

  • Very high TOT, 800°/820°!!! Anyway, the Rolls Royce 250 series is a very good engine!!! Grettings from Argentina!!!

  • Almost hot started it! Put the fuel in a bit early did he?

  • @dyockey Not quite. He didnt select idle thrust (first fuel detent). YOu would have heard it combustor light. What he did do was check the ToT and motored the engine, sucking in air to cool the combustor and lowering the TOT so that the subsequent start would be below the TOT limit.

  • @dyockey yes that is what i noticed he did hhmmm.

  • Woo! I love that turbine start up sound...Everything from the igniters to the ignition...The whine of turbine engines is just music.

  • @Quake120 Yeah, I agree completely, gotta love it! Combustion Chamber Music! Great!

  • 0:50 - What's making that "ticking" sound?

  • that is the sound of the igniter ticking, igniting the fuel in the burner can of the turbine engine

  • very nice video!

  • So awesome, thanks for sharing. Never seen this with removed covers etc.

  • I always thought the Bell 206 had 2 engines, but here it has only 1. Great video btw

  • nope, infact the bell 206, 206L4, and 407 all have only one engine.

  • @gezelle007 There is a version of the Longranger called the 206LT that does have two engines. It's also known as a Tridair Gemini.

  • Awesome, great video! Can't wait to move up to the turbines!

  • Absolutely BRILLIANT video. Nothing, NOTHING beats the start of a Bell 206 with the sound of the igniters, fuel flow and the whirring of the turbines. PLUS you showed the inner workings ........swashplate close-up and tail rotor drive while working. I should have started my rotory wing training this year but economy has delayed my plans. I have gotten a "feel" before but I hope to properly fly one of these one day. Thanks for the Vid. Please post more.

  • @DappaTube Start up of the Huey beats it. Lol. Nothing can beat a legend.
