Hi man. Let me answer your question. It won´t be based on my experience partially but as I own the E6400 and E6410 it is quite the same. Please notice, that the most significant differce comes with graphic card. And let me say it could be just the one which makes different E and M serie. Basicly M-serie is working-station. It is namely designed for engineering - an application as CAD are to be run very nicely on this computer. Battery management is poor with Lenovo laptops comparisn.
I don't have problems with that. GPU is about 50-55°C in idle. I have max temperature about 75°C in FurMark test. CPU in idle is about 35°C. Battery life with 9-cell battery is excellent. With Wi-fi and browsing internet and in power safe profile it's about 5 hours. Without Wi-fi I was at 7 hours battery life.
Hi man again. You got the answer from the author just below your commentary (question). There is Intel GPU in may units so I can´t answer. I consider M(E) serie design to be very good. The fan works as soon as temperature exceeds given limit (I am not sure of what limit). It runs only if this is the case. It seems to be quite hot while working with it on a lap. On the other hand palm rest is quite cold. My battery life is a bit lower than written below - about 4h W-F on. 7-9h W-F off
Overall, the reviewed model is REALLY nice machine. In my oppinion there is just one competitor to be taken into comparisn - Lenovo W series (or T series). But you can get Dell for significantly lower price - namely in Dell outlet. It is really good choice. Its casei/chassis is very sturdy. If you need it buy it. You won´t regret choosing this laptop.
ok sounds gd someone told me that each quad has a processing speed of 2.0 and that the total is 4.9 ghz not sure if this makes sense. I know that It reads i7-920 x not sure if the x is for extreme?
Hi, sorry if my english is as good as a bunch of crap, but i want to ask you, are you happy with the m4500, are there any problems with it yet? and what do you think about the display in detail?
@Atomic787: After 2 weeks I don't have any problems with my M4500 :) I was little scared with Full HD resolution on 15.6" but it's very nice. First 3-4 day it was about adjustment off my eyes, but now it's ok.. screen it's very detailed, and video in 1920x1080 it's very very nice :)
I have the same laptop. I regret buying this laptop. I hate it. Never again am I buying from DELL.
