@Velton500 Qualifications? Maybe the fact of having been listening to LP racks full of some *actual* Southern-style Rock like Eagles, Little River Band, Ozark Mountain Daredevils and all that jazz, finding lots of parallels in style and sound? (even though nobody'd call *that* music "blues") Well, when I made that comment i thought it was just a kind of "blues" totally unknown to me so far. As in blues, I mainly know the classics (Muddy Waters, BB King, Howlin' Wolf...). Different stuff.

weird band name, that's no blues, albeit using a sort of blues pattern. That's country rock or southern rock, if I'm not completely wrong.

You're right.
In so far as you are completely wrong!
You might not call this Blues but Paul Jones is a Radio 1 DJ and recognised expert on the genre - and he is the lead singer!
Former lead singer with Manfred Mann, in their earlier days too!
What's weird about a band that plays mainly Blues calling themselves The Blues Band?
And your qualifications for making this comment are?

@pianoman74
No problem.
If you had expressed it as an opinion rather than such a bald "statement" I wouldn't have been so confrontational myself.
Let's agree to differ?
It's all great music and that's what matters!
Love and Peace. ;-)
