I love how WMG seems to have a claim on the entire soundtrack of this video, not just a small clip somewhere that's probably being talked over anyway...
I'm against illegal downloading etc but this is greed and self-importance at its worst, ruining an almost entirely unrelated video for loads of people just because the programme makers happened to use a track by one of their many artists.
Although I wasn't a huge fan of Schumacher and almost hated him at one stage because he would win every race, I still find this very interesting and thanks for posting. I don't think it's fair to call him the greatest simply because he has the most wins. He was great, not the greatest. Senna was great. Fangio was great. I don't rate any of them the greatest - it's just not something you can judge.

Actually he accomplished more - Senna won 3 world titles in his first 8 years. Schui only 2. Schui's stats only became good due to his later years at Ferrari - so if u want to compare the at the 8 year mark - Senna's stats are better.

The farce of 89 is an embarrassment - Senna in a class of his own on the track - obliterating everyone else - even first class team-mate Prost - only to robbed by mechancal failures whlst leading (USA, Canda, Britain, France, Italy) and politics (Japan). Although I wasn't a huge fan of Schumacher and almost hated him at one stage because he would win every race, I still find this very interesting and thanks for posting. I don't think it's fair to call him the greatest simply because he has the most wins. He was great, not the greatest. Senna was great. Fangio was great. I don't rate any of them the greatest - it's just not something you can judge.

Man - stick to martial arts you dont understand motorsport - Schui never "played God" - his team id - the technical director Ross Brawn is the one who controlled all the strategies and Rory Byrne designed the best cars. Schui did nothing but drive - don't over-romanticize the immature myth that "Schui revived Ferrari" - it's a bullshit myth - as stupid as saying Senna's input at McLaren made then win 15 of 16 races in 88.
The drivers just drive, CAPICHE? Thats all. And Senna was the Greatest!

Ordinarily that is fair - but occasionaly someone is so awesome its clear they are the greatest. Senna was so miraculously good that it is indeed possible to acknowledge he was the best ever. 65 poles and 41 wins in just 160 gp - most of which were without the best car - truly mindblowing. Schui's stats are barely any better with a history of the best car 4 times as often!!!

Actually he accomplished more - Senna won 3 world titles in his first 8 years. Schui only 2. Schui's stats only became good due to his later years at Ferrari - so if u want to compare the at the 8 year mark - Senna's stats are better.

i meant that u know if senna was better than schumacher in the 8 years he worked (more than half of schumachers time 15 yrs) shouldnt he have scored 4 titles (so in the next seven years) he would beat schumacher. he would have 8 titles. suppose senna lived and worked as long as michael did, at the rate he was moving at he would hav only scored 6 titles 1 less than schumacher so he isnt as good (read it over once or twice it sounds a bit confusing

The analogy has a little bit of accuracy - ie, Senna and Ali were genii with God-given talents to perform near-miracles in the golden eras of their respective sports, whilst Tyson and Schui were classless cheats - the best of their time (but at a time of weak competition) and far from well-rounded skill sets.

Absolute bullshit - Schui didnt slaughter ANY records!- he doesn't even HOLD any records that matter - Senna's and Clark's pole strikerate SLAUGHTERS Schui's, Fangio's World Championship and win strikerate SLAUHTERS Schuis.
Strikerates are all that mattes - who gives a shit about totals - the only reason Schui has the highest totals is because he SLAUGHTERS all the other greats for GP (ie. opportunities!) - with almost as many GP under his belt as Senna, Fangio, Clark combined!

Wrong! when Schui came to Ferrari - so did Rory Byrne and Ross Brawn. THATS what made Ferrari the best - Schui was just along for the ride - any driver there would have enjoyed the same resurgence. Its just a false romantic myth promoted by starry eyed fanboys crediting schui for ferrari's resurgence - complete bollocks! (Note Ferrari did better in 07,08 without Schui than they did in 05,06 with him! He was not a factor in their success. 50% of drivers would have won 5 WC there with team-orders!

With Schui's cars from 1992 to 2006 Senna would have won 12 World Championships - all but 92, 96, 05. I said 2004. 44 years old. Mansell raced until 42. MArio Andretti and AJ Foyt race Indicar into their mid- 50's.
Senna was better than the lot of them and had so much reserves and margin over the others that even if he dropped off 20% since he was 34 he would still have been the best.

The farce of 89 is an embarrassment - Senna in a class of his own on the track - obliterating everyone else - even first class team-mate Prost - only to robbed by mechancal failures whlst leading (USA, Canda, Britain, France, Italy) and politics (Japan). He should have won 12GP in a 16 race season - 75%!!!
Arguably Senna's two greatest seasons were 89 and 93 - driving circles around Prost both seasons - but the handicaps were just too great - proving how meaningless formal titles really are.

When Schui speared off at Silverstone in 99 at about the same speed Senna speared off at Tamburello in 94 - the different results were purely a matter of luck!
If Schui had been killed here like Senna unfortunately was, he would have a mediocre record - 2 World Championships and 35 wins in nearly 9 years compared to Senna's 3WC in just 8 years (and 41 wins in 10 years)
That ends the myth that Schui's stats make him the best - he was just lucky enough to be around for 250GP.

clearly Schumache4r has suffered a life-long inferirity complex to the mighty Ayrton Senna. I think Schumi secretly wanted to die in a crash so that he would be taken seriously too. But he didn't - so we will alll continue to think of him as a joke. BWAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA
