I think James did a kickass job here. His voice has gotten a lot deeper over the years, singing and talking. If you listen to interviews back in the early eighties he talks like modern day Hetfield on helium. Its hard to sing the high shit when your voice is no longer high and when you've been killing it with non stop touring the past 30 years.

Hetfield, Brian Johnson, Roger Daltry, Jimmy Page, THAT kind of screaming will damage your vocal chords after a while. Screaming like Alexi Laiho and Randy Blythe, will not. That uses your false chords. Big difference. And honestly, of course he's not going to sing as good as he did in 84-89. The man is almost fifty. If you did backflips when you were twenty. Guys, you have to understand that is not so simple to play guitar at speeds like this and sing along...But Jaymz Hetfield is amazingly awesome at this... And his voice? I'm impressed that he's able to sing those songs after almost 30 years of singing, drinking and smoking wich are definetly not good for voice. But he's still doing it at his best abillities so don't be hard on him, but respect him!

i've arrived a bit late in @davemurray16 @alk61200 argument. Bruce's voice is more mature and full than it was in the 80s and he takes better care of his voice now. James actually sings now but when he shows signs of that aggression like he did at the 1:30 mark. Everyone is excited because he still has that raw power in his voice.
