Wow cool catch on the NREX SD40-2 that looks almost like a military engine or something!

That 50T grain train was hard to tell what RR it actually was with all that different power, CSX, Montana Rail Link, ex-Conrail, NS....Then you have 139 following that with nothing but foreign power and all EMD's! Awesome stuff! Totally 5*****!

That particular SD40-2 has a HUGE rear porch. I can't remember the history behind this engine.....it seems like it may have been rebuilt at some point with an SD50 frame. Glad you enjoyed the video!

Ah yes, the NREX 9402. Frankenstein, we call it. Very strange but beautiful unit. Whatever happened to it??
