  • I wish for ONCE they'd run that MILW Fairbanks-Morse switcher without the bell running. The FM opposed-piston engine has such a unique sound to it, and it's impossible to hear over the bell.

  • It would be nice if they would restore the Lima-Hamilton!

  • And a Paducah Geep...

  • i was inside and on top of the green and yellow illinois terminal one

  • 5 stars. My favorite is the CNW SD40-2

  • Memories! great horn on that sw7. It brings back such memories.

  • That sw1200 is really nice!

  • That SD24 is beautiful in its Burlington paint.

  • The only locomotive that IRM could use to *complete* their collection is a BL2.....Just a thought. 5/5!

  • Yes! A BL2 would just about complete their collection. I really wish they had a Rock Island EMD or GE unit of any kind, painted in the red and yellow scheme, with an "old cast" P5 on it.

  • Maybe the GP7.....I'm not a big fan of the red and yellow, but I like Bankrupt Blue better. And yes, they could use a early F40PH, with a few heritage coaches.

  • Or, maybe an Amtrak F40PH in Phase II paint with some Heritage Fleet coaches.

  • there is a 1991 video showing the Janesville and Southeastern BL2 on a wisonsin and Calumet freight

  • @martinlumber When i was 13, i got to ride in the cab of a BL2...it is now used for scenic rides in the poconos on "the Stourbridge line". It was cool as a young train enthusiast.
