oh and not to mention the black car isn't an M, it is a Z3 with an M conversion, you can tell by the dash trim (M's have 3 gauges at the base of the center console and colored trim all around the interior, not just the steering wheel. the colors will be red, silver or blue normally)
I drive an M and there are three gauges on the console, the interior matches the steering wheel, and it will definitely destroy an s2000. I have a 1999 and have raced my friends s2000 several times. Could/probably be be wrong but that's my two cents
there are 3 cages on the center console but its lower then the camera showed thats why you didn't see it. I watched the video just looking for the camera to go low enough and it didn't. As far as color coordination goes....its a bmw...there are all kinds of ways you can order it...he may have asked for black leather. I have owned both an s2000 and now an m and I will not argue that the s2000 will be destroyed.
m roadster is much faster off the line (99-03) than an s2000, at highway speeds the vtec and horsepower that an s2000 produces could pull on an M but not in a quarter mile or even a half mile drag. not to mention that an m would outperform the hell out of an s2000 in autocross

ok well for starters
the instrument cluster is an m series cluster a conversion would cost about 700 bucks
the mirrors are m series which would cost another 500 for housing
thats not mentioning rims, front bumper, rear bumper
quad exhaust...all of those upgrades would cost more then the difference between a z3 and m would run you. So if he didn't convert then hes a moron.
What I'm basically trying to say is that sorry but your wrong.
This is definitly an m roadster.

its got to be pre 2001 and an s52
cause if it was the s54 theres no way that s2000 could keep up with 315 hp
