I sometimes forget just how damn involved this games battle system is/was. There was so much going on, but it never felt over bearing. As far as battle systems goes Chrono Cross just nails it. Plus this is easily the best looking PS1 game graphics wise.

This game is reviewed as the greatest playstation game of all time, as well as just one of the greats. I guess at the time it was amazing.

does anyone here got spectra swallow on there second try through the game without newgame+ ?

I did it. I wanted to get it cause I read that once I start a new game+, I'd lose the Mastermune which is the most powerful double bladded staff in the game. I guess it'd be better to start over with the Spectra Swallow than any of the other weapons.

Yup, same with all the other summons. The field has to be filled with that color element for them to work.
