  • 5.9, stop the world. Thankfully we have building codes that protect us from being flatened like a turd world dunghole would be with such a small quake.

  • California is NEXT & it wont be a 5.9 earthquake,,,,,,

  • These people are just not used to earthquakes and not every building is build to withstand them

  • @brunfist It could also be cause it used to belong to mexico, don't you think?

  • ''earthquake'' ...... ... someone woke up this great

    earthworms in Maine! ;)

  • I remember the last earthquake I went through in Los Angeles - The ground shook, I woke up, looked around the house to see if everything was okay, and immediately went back to bed pissed because that stupid quake interrupted a great dream.

  • @LiloniaSDgirl yea i hope u wake up to a tornado and shit your pants.

  • @theimmortal8265 Theres no tornados in Cali .. :)

  • @LiloniaSDgirl exactly i bet u would shit your pants if u saw a torndao because you never experienced one before. Just like i would shit my pants if i felt the ground move because i'v never experienced it b4.

  • Won't be the last.

  • God is pissed at Obama

  • @11301920 AMEN!

  • Luke 21:26 Men will faint from tehagrror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken.

Haggai 2: 6 “This is what the LORD Almighty says: ‘In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land.

  • @gloryboundkev True.

  • @Dog0BGYN Wrong type of faultline but nice try anyways.

  • And here is a story for you! I was at work. After lunch, sitting in my chair thinking. What a beautiful day, but very quite day. So unusual. Something will happen. Half hour later very rare earthquake. I am not lying about this!!!

  • I have not felt an earthquake since i was a little child. But, when it hit, i knew right away it was an earthquake. So powerful.

  • The arrogance and complacency of humans to think that they are "safe" and will live to see another day.

  • Luke 21:11

There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.

  • @gloryboundkev King James . And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

  • @Josephdaz1 God is showing his wrath over increase in Metro fares.

  • @UNIVERSITYHI LOL :-)

  • Maybe the White House used the same "earthquake machine" that Hugo Chavez claimed they used on Haiti?

  • This is must be HAARP, no ! this must be Al Qaeda job.....

LOL for that "conspiracy theory" things....

  • Felt here in Maine also

  • no need to run or hide under tables just chill and enjoy, hope for a bigger one hopefuly crashes all the old buildings with scum politicians and bankers all smashed to death and we start new. i'm praying for tidal waves I wanna see the ground give way. I wanna watch it all go down. mom please flush it all away. I wanna see it go right in and down. Tool

  • Revelations ch7 v34 Verily I say unto you, the ground will shake, the mountains will crumble, and the house with the dome of white, will disappear clean out of sight.

  • @movement26 Revelation 7 ends at verse 17. Get a Bible and read it.

  • Comment removed

  • @movement26 Are you quoting the correct scripture? Rev. 7 only has 17 verses :-)

  • Figures Obama's not there ..

  • May be Al Qaida are doing this shit!! Who knows?

  • Wake up lawmakers!

  • @hank220 Yeah, now watch them try to pass a law to ban hurricanes and earthquakes and label them an enemy of the state.

  • Beware of september 25-27 for a big quake!

  • Everyone here in California are laughing right now.

  • @Cassidan Yes very funny .. do you really think we need any more disasters?

  • @Josephdaz1 A 5.9 earthquake is hardly a disaster. Otherwise California would be a continuous disaster zone since we have these almost daily.

  • @Cassidan I realize it's not a disaster .. but I still don't see the humor in your comment.

  • @Josephdaz1 Because it is being so overblown by the news media to create a hysteria over this event.

  • @Cassidan Makes sense :-)

  • @Josephdaz1 It's not about making fun of people being scared because I realize they are not used to it, but having huge headlines about a 5.9 earthquake stating "Capitol Evacuated!", "Fear grips East Coast!" is pretty funny. Even the U.S.G.S. guy sounded bored giving information about the quake lol

  • @Cassidan Bullshit!! So when the next time California has an earthquake don't expect us to have pity on you.

  • @MrJaytee1982 I don't remember the last time there was pity on us for an earthquake below a 6.0 because they happen often here. Too often to make news.

  • @Cassidan honestly, if you live in California than you have no idea about the fault lines and how they differ in California and the ones on the east coast.. The fault lines that we have are all different fault lines..or they are fault lines that are all broken up therefore a larger earthquake is absorbed and the shaking is different here than it is on the east coast. the fault on the east coast is a big fault line. they would feel a pretty strong earthquake at 5.9 magnitude.

  • @Cassidan Geology is way different in the Mid West & East Coast. EG are felt further from epicenter & magnified. (read up on geology)

    ~

Oh, ever been in a Blizzard or a Tornado?

    ~~

Everyone in the Mid West & East Coast is laughing right now.

  • @SSArt98 "EQ"

  • @SSArt98 Yes I have been in both as I have lived on the East Coast as well. Thanks for asking. :-)

  • @Cassidan

Everyone in the U.S is laughing at your state full of illegal Mexicans. Wonder why everyone calls it "Mexifornia".

  • @brunfist News for you is this.....illegal immigrants are everywhere. Not late breaking news, but apparently the memo wasn't delivered to your desk. We will work on that for you so it won't happen again.

  • @Cassidan

    go ahead and laugh now.

You wont be laughing when the next quake levels your home. Not too mention your filthy state is cursed with illegal aliens, mudslides and wildfires.

  • @tradernorton05 Now see here is the difference. While you are wishing for the destruction of a persons home, I am talking about a quake that caused very VERY little damage and no injuries. See the difference? You are wishing for the destruction of lives and I am saying the news media is completely over-doing their apocalypse coverage of a very small quake that while rattling people, wasn't the beginning of the end of times as they are making it.

  • @Cassidan

You need to re-read my comment.

No where did I mention anything about wishing for homes and lives to be destroyed. Please point out where I specifically *wished* for people to die.

You seem to be the type who spins the subject when you realize you have no legitimate argument.

  • @Cassidan also, because we basically live in earthquake country our building codes differ from that on the east coast. idk why you feel it's right to say that "everyone here in California is laughing". that's a bunch of shit. I would say an earthquake on the east coast that people felt as far as CANADA??!!! Must have been a damn strong one felt right where the epic center of the quake was. Get off your high and mighty horse.

  • @dbritton41 Look...Christchurch was a major event. Japan was a major event. San Francisco was a major event. Los Angeles was a major event. The media treating this like those events is what is so funny because no one was hurt and damage wasn't considerably bad. It is being overly-hyped from what it was because it involved New York and D.C.. It was a small earthquake, not the second coming.

  • @Cassidan these people aren't used to having earthquakes. there was damage.. i saw cars flattened by rubble.. so i guess there wasn't enough damage to meet your requirements of a big earthquake for these people on the east coast. does the media play in to the hype? of course they do! that's a given. they always play up everything. however, it doesn't take away from people that really felt fear from this quake. it was felt in NY, RI, Canada, SC, NC, MD, OH, Virginia, and more.

  • @Cassidan you know darn well that if the quake happened here in California they would be on the news talking all about it as well. we'd be watching news about it all night long. media hype is media hype and it wouldn't matter where the quake was.. true or untrue? cause i know a 5.9 quake would be an all night newsworthy event.

  • @Cassidan And when it snows 2 inches this winter and you go into a state of emergency, we'll be laughing at you

  • @kiloggolik If we go into a state of emergency for two inches of snow then you should laugh at us. I will laugh right alongside you at that.

  • The US Tectonic Plates are moving rapidly!!! Colorado got hit last night with at 4.9 last night and now virginia got a 5.9 today!!! There might be another one we must be careful!

  • Where's all the Chuck Norris jokes?

    What about HAARP?

And what happened to the end of days suicide birds and fishes?

And can a same sex couples get legally married in NY now?

  • Blame the Tea Party.

  • Oh noes

  • I felt it up here in Western New York. Second Quake experience. At first I thought I was getting dizzy.

  • AHHHH BOOGITY BOOGITY 2012 THE WORLDS GONNA END AAAHHHHH

  • @mynameismud420 lol funny guy

  • god's gonna punish the masons:-)

  • @buckodcelt yup lol

  • I love when people say "I was trying to figure out what happened". Like there are so many suspects to be eliminated- when the ground trembles beneath you.

  • Wow, I don't even get out of bed for a 6.0

  • ah very rare. I farted.

  • Weird but dont go crazy saying 2012 bull crap

  • crap, world coming to shit

  • Fuck the usgs, if they couldnt tell you this unusual large quake would hit , how can they say it wont be a bigger one or more severe quakes, i like these experts, who never predict anything but after the fact they know everything
