I used to be against a wipe since I have a large bank and max char. I am now 100% pro wipe. I will gladly start over in hopes of seeing Celiah cry 1 million tears.

@TheCashMommy Nope. I have played since launch and still have a sub on EU. If I decide to transfer I will place my items on an alt so I lose nothing if I come back. I don't really want a wipe but to see Celiah's tears is worth it. It's the ones who are crying about their virtual items and stats being lost that are the babies. It's a game, get over it.
AV is pissing me off, first with the crap customer service, then absolute shit for updates/any real content and now they're telling me when they finally actually update something they are going to wipe my character that I've built up this whole time through their shit? wtf they should be giving us extra stuff for having to deal with them this whole time!
I dont really care if they wipe it it will give new people that are buying the game for its graphics now with the game experience they want a chance to play and not get owned ever 2 seconds of their life and waste their money. WIPE IT PLEASE XD
Jesus your angry. And yes to wipe, characters are truly meaningless after recent weekend. Also a proper relaunch which is advertised will be awesome. Population + no jack of all trades for a short while. Launch days were a better time for darkfall :)
The things I have left of this game are fun moments, and I'm sure I can have them too after a wipe. Although I think players who have grinded this long should be rewarded...
The build-up phase is very important because it increases the pool of participants that will play Darkfall on its' conditions (live/win or die/lose).
- But, for this to ever be successful DF 2.0 needs to be so brilliantly structured that it encourages people to stay and build a zerg empire even if you are left alone, weak and you've lost everything with zero morale to go on.
@SoloRaiderPvP The game systems need to support growth and development to such a degree that it's natural and you don't even need to think before you automatically start building, growing and developing again.
Now I ask you:
Which better way to test if Darkfall 2.0 is THAT brillianty structured other than putting players of all skill levels, experience and wealth together into one server and putting the new game to a real test of success and sustainability?
@SoloRaiderPvP Whatever any pro-wiper will say, I cannot see a wipe be anything else but a small patch on a huge wound that won't stop bleeding.
The real problems are there and a wipe will only stall for time. I'm tired of waiting on Av. Aren't you? I have fun and I play despite poor development progress. I deal with it. So why should I have to pay the price of a wipe when there is no guarantee it will be good enough?
@SoloRaiderPvP I just want to enjoy the game and see the game get better with new and fixed content that is good for the game and its' players.
We've heard Av (Tasos) hype Av's progress and work so many times that it's impossible to gauge real success from his own excitement. And Av themselves can't know for sure if it will work.
@SoloRaiderPvP That's why you develop a game and listen to the community and veterans (who have this game as a second life), make tests and analyze statistics to further develop the game into something that encourages increasingly more people to stick around and play. MESSAGE TO AV:
