why would people go to the great expense of using recording studios if you could get such a clean and perfect sound from this guys bedroom?

@eastgreenketama1 Obviously not fake, why would he go to the great trouble of actually learning the song on the tin whistle (he is definitely playing), and putting a microphone on his head, and recording a video, and uploading it to youtube, but with imported audio?

It's really not that hard to get this sound from a whistle, you only need a good microphone, and any free recording program to put some kind of reverb/delay on it. I mean for god sake, you can hear his breathing everytime.

Can I ask you what program you use to get the fine reverb? Are you using a tool like logic pro for mac or another audio tool for the pc? And just let it go through the headset and record what comes out of the speakers with a cam?

I'm asking as I can't find a good way to get reverb on the fly for my tin whistle youtube recordings :(

I would suggest you learn it by ear like the rest of us have done. Putting slow airs into sheet music is difficult.
