  • Wow, Thanks for taking me back! The beautiful song that is burned in my head that I haven't heard in 15 years is the GF cover of Van Morrison's Sweet Thing!! Always wished I had it recorded. IMO an improvement on the original. Heard it countless times live and loved it every time. Anyone have any footage or audio of this??? If so, please post!

  • They used to play at a bar (Blondie's) right down the road from where I lived. I saw them more times than I can count. I love these guys. Aside from being a great band, they're really nice people. I was backstage a few times and knew the band a little. Bill's wife inspired a lot of the songs from this album, the Kerouac stuff. I live in Chicago now, and miss the music scene around Pittsburgh.

  • A great Pgh group....there are groups in FL that play this song.

  • Great song, at the time it was the most requested song of all time on WDVE.

  • When I was in the Army, I was stationed in a small town with non-major market radio stations. I first heard this song in 1996, and it is one of my all time favorites. How this band (along with the Screamin' Cheetah Wheelies) never got huge I will never understand.

  • Bill Deasy kicks ass! and the band is so great! Better than tight and so much talent!... seeing them live is an emotional rollercoaster of total musical talent

  • These guys are great The whole band is beyond tight but the lead is out of this world smooth. I have no idea why they did not make it big One of my Favorate bands by far I still hope some one hears them. Rock on guys Please get back together.

  • How could any of our bands not have made it big? GF, Brownie Mary, Buzz Poets...all great bands. In a strange way, it's kinda cool...like our own little secret. I've turned lotsa ppl on to Deasy/GF all over the country. It's just great music. Must be a burgh thing.

  • Dont forget the Clarks....Grew up in Erie- all of the above were the big ticket!!!

  • THE tune for Labor Day 2008

  • How could this song NOT have gotten the band on Letterman or Conan? Best damn song ever.

  • thanks, love this song, been looking for it for awhile! peace...

  • DUDE!! i was right there!!!

    great night

zach my man u know all the words
