  • I don't know... I mean, this gent seems like a nice guy. He's certainly entertaining to watch, but I'm not sure if he's convincing me that he's Jefferson... I mean, John Adams once said of Jefferson: “During the whole time I sat with him in Congress, I never heard him utter three sentences together." Jefferson was uneasy about public speaking. He didn't like pomp. He was a very calm person, sometimes awkward, sometimes casual... There have been some speculations that he may have been autistic.

  • I went to Williamsburg last year, and he was my favorite part of the whole place

  • I pray in earnest that "We the People" will not be fooled so easily in 2012 by banners waved in the name of the two party farse. There is coming a time when the choices we make will dictate the very path of our soul's. Men shall tremble in fear and cower in shame as there families starve, for the hardest part will not be planning for tomorrow, but lamenting over the lost liberty of day's gone by. Dissolution, submission, or assimilation are easy... Dissent, endurance, and activism are worthy.

  • Not quite how I picture Jefferson. For instance during his inagural address he could barely be heard!!

For further evidence consider how many of mr jefferson's most famous quotes are lifted from speeches as opposed to those which are lifted from personal letters.

However, if one would follow the true introverted nature of our 3rd president, such an educational event would never be possible!

  • wow thank you so much for putting this up...he is electric!

I wanted to shout out "our King is German!" (I am from England). In fact my surname is Williams. Can we borrow him to run the united Kingdom?

Long live Thomas Paine....common sense! I'd love to visit Williamsburg one day

Thanks again for putting this up

  • Sorry I'm lagging on replying. I'm glad you enjoyed it, and I really hope you get to CW. It's a great place and the most wonderful living history museum ever!

  • @jagdpanther1944 Hell no you can't have Jefferson! If it wasn't for him I'd have nothing to be proud of as an American. But yes huzzah for Paine, the only founding father not recognized as such.

  • This dude is awesome, I want to go see him!

  • bill barker is the love of my life haha the nicest guy
