When it comes to the discussion of who were the best lead singer I say it's stupid. They are all great in their own way. You really cannot compare them to each other. Tetsu is great. Gackt is great. Klaha is great. Tetsu had tons of emotions. Gackt had his piano playing and different music. Klaha had an opera-like voice. Can't you people just enjoy the music instead of wasting your time in these stupid conflicts. I LOVE Malice Mizer forever!!!!!!!!
In most Malice Mizer songs, the lyrics is about love... It is kinda wierd when the poetic love songs of Malice Mizer isn't named to somebody... Is it just that the vocalists of Malice Mizer (since there have been more than one) are very flirty, or that they simply want to deliver beautiful poetic love songs to the world? Though I even wonder at a slightest chance this question: Do the Malice Mizer people write these songs to each other? Like from member to member? Who knows really???
oh don't be so formal in calling her "sama". you'll prolly make her feel old. lol. not that you're wrong, though "kun" should suffice, but "chan" is just a term of endearment, that's often used for girls. but there's no problem in calling a guy that. so don't be afraid to. ^_^
It's a more respectful version of "san". You use it to refer to people who are honorably of more status than you are, which he pretty much is in Japan. "Chan" may be a term of endearment, but it's mainly used if you've known the person for a while [[mainly since childhood]] or used to refer to young kids or females.
it's more preference than anything else. it's similar to younger males here in america that don't like to be called sir or mr. i for instance don't like it and discourage being referred to as mr. or sir at my workplace. chan can be used several way. as stated above and for instance, if you felt like being a bully and picking on a younger male, you may refer to him as "boy-chan" which generalizes and belittles him. and you need not know him since child hood to do so. but thanks for the reply.
You can't compare Japan to America in that aspect. Honorifics are used ALL the time. You aren't just called by your name, you are called by your name with an honorific added. America only uses "honorifics" [[such as Mr. Ms. Mrs]] when you are a child referring to an adult or referring to someone older than you are. It could be two kids talking to each other in Japan, and each time they'd say their name [[for the most part]] theyd use an one most likely -chan. It's out of respect, not preference.
lol! i'm well aware that mana is a guy. but mana even said in an interview that he wishes to be refered to as a she. his parents always wanted a girl and are not dissapointed in how he turned out. i respect that. and guess what? i still think she's gorgeous. i have no regrets. ^_^
ok, i can agree with the johnny depp part since i got gay friends who dont shut up about how hot he is when he stars in a new movie, but i just cant see sean connery as extremely good looking
but yeah as straight as i am even i have a small man crush on mana (just dont tell mah mates lol)
it's his accent! lol! and he carries himself very well and has this swagger about him. i remember admiring him while watching some of his earlier films. and he's just like wine, he gets better with age! ^^
Yep I know Khala is the singer here! ^^ I just wasn't sure whether he was in the vid (as a guitarist)..But I just found out Gackt and Khala never were in MM at the same time xD !

The honorific "sama" doesn't make one feel old.
=/
