So who is the bass player here?
You can sure tell he is playing with a pick. Tone is a little thin but so are all the guitars. Their amps just don't put out enough bottom end.
Still sounds good, for being live.

I don't know that much about Alan, other than the videos, but I think he was a cool lead singer...being respectful to the audience means a lot to me! And he is!

wow, best sound i have heard yet for this clip.
I first saw this in 1993, when the bass player of the Muffs showed me a whole
bunch of SHINDIG tapes. It's really great, exciting stuff from the Hollies, not the
early seventies songs they did.

@powergirl901 Quite agree with you. The original lineup always sounds fresh, and the 70's lineup always sounds like there's something missing.
