@fearoftheboxer: You're forgetting that the EMP can't affect the B-29 as it's a mainly mechanical plane. The systems are largely hydraulic, so she would've still been able to fly it.....

@fearoftheboxer: O.K, maybe there were SOME electrical systems on the B-29, but not really enough to cause it to crash due to the EMP of an atom bomb - or else the Enola Gay would have crashed over Hiroshima.
