  • can you explane me what does gaming mode do?

  • Pls help?! 30 days trial?!

  • @Cypriaan01 Register it. Registration is free and all you need is your name and e-mail address. That will unlock your full edition.

  • @PCMichiana Thanks for your respond but i can't find where i can register? Appreciate your help.

  • Craig, I downloaded the program avast new version but it only allowed me to use it for 2 months and then said I had to purchase it.. then I just got rid of it, I really don't have a problem with virus anyways so its better for me not to have it. I hate it when the the tech person where you are buying a new computer say's you have to have a virus program, its pointless it slows the computer down and eats up space. so No virus program for me. so thats my thoughts on those 2 things!!

  • why do you idiots trust av-comparatives or virus bulletin?the august 2010 results(virusbtn.com) say that avg has a better detection than avast avira and kaspersky.what kind of idiot will believe that?av-comparatives also have fake results.those sites are sponsored.if you see the videos,in which avs are tested you'll see that avast 5 is the best!you should only trust the users, not the IT''professionals''.

  • how can, I get avast pro anti-virus full version for free

  • i agree! i'm using avast^^,

  • I like the Avast! Home Edition 5, but it's a trail version.

How can I get the full version of Avast! Home Edition 5.

If you've the link please send it to me

  • Is this a Trial or Free anti-virus??

  • this is a 30 day trial?? wtf i might as well get pirate virus protection i need more than 30 days

  • @PCMichiana, hello, i downloaded avast 5 today, and everything seemed ok but the Scan Now section is blank..i've tried repairing, reinstalling ect but it remains blank. Do you know if something has to be done to get it working or to show up? (sorry i know this' a bit random, but the avast forums aren't much help)

  • Have you scanned your computer for known malware? That kind of issue is often caused by an infection on the computer before installing Avast. I would suggest uninstalling Avast and running a full scan and clean using Malwarebytes Antimalware Free (available at my website)

  • It's ok, for some odd reason the scanner options have now appeared, i'm not sure why i couldn't scan for a day but glad it's working now. Thank you for the help though!

  • avira and avast are beasts

  • Awesome GUI!!! Anyway is a cloud antivirus better?

  • great video PC, I wasn't aware they released a new version. It looks fantastic, and I'm upgrading right now!

    -NrGefx

  • bitdefender is better xD

  • Great Vid THNX : )

  • what happen?? its been a long time.. we all missed you on you tube.. your part of our family.. AVAST ANTIVIRUS RULES!!

  • lol :D Been extremely busy at work, plus I wanted to give the site some time to linger in the search engines so I could determine growth apart from daily uploads - I'm back though :P

  • yeah, I Google myself every now and then.. and I am just all over that place.. whooo hooo!! between YT, FB, MS, college music stuff, my own music stuff.. i am good

  • Does this have a firewall, so i can finally disable " Windows Firewall "?

  • Yes it does.

  • No, but they have released an Internet Security edition, which contains a firewall. But, the best firewall you can get for free is COMODO Internet Security (remember to uncheck the antivirus when you install it)

  • No it doesn't, also, if you have a router on your home network the windows firewall is sufficient for protection - however - you can always disable the annoying bubbles from the firewall through your control panel > security center > under resources on the left select "Change the way security center alerts me"

  • Well That's Cool :D

  • so your saying that the new avast is BETTER then AVG Anti--Virus Free? and i should switch back to avast again?

  • According to the website av-comaratives(dot)org Avast has beaten out both AVG Free and Avira in independent 3rd party tests. So yes, you should switch back to avast again.
