@godessoflove2468 I used to work in the skin care store, and i used to have that problem, but when i started to exfoliate and do a mask once a week, i didnt have flaky anymore. So try to exfoliate your skin at least once a week.

@godessoflove2468 i am not a makeup artist but i had this problem too in order to prevent it i apply a generous amount of vaseline before i go to bed around my nose and to any other area that is very dry and i get most of it of in the morning and when i apply my foundation it goes on really smoothly and i does not look flaky i hope this helps you :)

@godessoflove2468 You should make sure you apply moisturizer on your entire face before applying any foundation/concealer. If you already do then apply more around your nose area. You could also try exfoliating the skin on your nose, but be gentle or you'll agitate your skin. Or if you don't want to exfoliate then you could try getting a wet flannel and gently rubbing the area where there is dry skin. I'm no expert, but I do this and my skin isn't flaky. But I don't wear foundation anymore. :)

Now I know why so many kids in my school have acne and acne scars. It's all the sixth graders. (Im in sixth grade).I'm one of the few that has perfect skin. I use pore strips, drying stuff(that I put on my face before I go to bed.),and merderma for if I see any scars. So you could say I take care of my skin a lot.

@nnnnhhhh88 If you were asking me: My skin has cleared up quite a bit and the scarring has faded dramatically on this new regimen my dermatologist put me on. I use the Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash, the original. Then I use the Clean and Clear acne toner with 2% salicylic acid. Then I use Tretinol, which is a prescription retinol (ONLY AT NIGHT EVERY OTHER DAY), and I put on the Clinique Dramtically Different Moisturizing Gel if my skin is dry. I also take minocycline pills orally twice a day.
