yes JLB but Frye's place is MMA, he was a D-1 wrestler and relied on it to beat good strikers and his above average striking (by MMA standards)to beat grapplers. you made it sound like JLB should be proud of beating Frye when in reality JLB in 2001-2002 was one of the best K-1 had to offer.

@somebloke1959 back then in 2002 Pride and K-1 co-promote the show Dynamite! (Shockwave in America). Some K-1 fighters fought under MMA rules (Jerrel Veneetian and Mirko) and some MMA fighters fought under K-1 rules (Schilt and Frye).

I think Frye wanted to fight under K-1, just for the challenge.
