  • i have a code similar to that, only affects mario:

    D033AFA1 0020

    8133B1BC C100

(i put it on an activator)

    press L to activate

  • You fast stop while going up, but don't go down fast.

  • this look like the underwate gravity, am i rigth?

  • @iFernando51 yes

  • @iFernando51 no, underwater you can't wall

  • @benedanika using metal cap you can

  • @iFernando51 oh

  • Can this work in only one level instead of all? Because it would be awesome if i could make my space level for my hack have this :P I highly doubt it though

  • can this work in reverse?

and applied in the way of walking on mario galaxy?

    sorry for my bad english

  • excuse the question where can you get the games?

  • with this gravity, you could write some extra stars with very hard levels :)

  • kinda looked like the goomba wasn't effected by it...

  • why didnt you try flying...

  • SUPER MARIO GALAXY 64! lol

  • If there was a way to tweak Mario's slide, then that with this effect could recreate some classic Luigi physics.

  • Shouldn't the game have an acceleration constant it applies to the vertical speed, both for jumping and for falling? Just find those and multiply them by 1/6, then consider doing similar for Mario's X and Y acceleration. Of course, this would only work for Mario...and you'd want some way to make Mario appear to run in slow motion rather than walking. You could probably have the code that reads his speed for animation purposes read higher values.

  • That's pretty much the slow falls cheat for the DS version.

  • pretty cool!

  • I sense some SMG ideas for in SM64. <w<

  • This would be nice if it wasn't for the fact that everything goes up fast and comes down at the exact same speed, instead of accelerating.

  • @Xkeeper0 Yeah, will try to work on that. Probably feasible to get a convincing Mario effect, but messing with other objects may be harder.

  • i changed all the goombas to ! swichish

  • All you'd need is just some new landscaping, some colour edits, and more of a platform-theme and :o

    Super Mario Galaxy 64?

  • I discussed this with him a bit ago. To properly do SMG64 you'd need to rotate Mario so that his axis goes away from whatever planet he's on and recalculate his acceleration relative to the nearest gravitating body. The math would be hideously complex and without it, floating mini planets wouldn't work like they do in Galaxy at all. And then what would the point be?

  • Now if only you could patch a gameshark code to one level, someone can make a moon level in one of their hacks!

  • This feature would be great for a Super Mario Galaxy-styled hack.

  • Literal moon-jump!

  • Yeah, what TZN said, slow fall speed + higher jump height is a gravity feel.

  • can you(mario) still get damaged by falling down?

  • u should make a blj with these physics (or hsf/hswk)

  • Looks great, but Mario just come down slow,he should jump higher.

  • @TheZukunftsNerd Will try it.

  • would be cooll to see a TAS freerun with this code

  • sv_gravity 800

  • Super Neo Mario. No hands.

  • He should jump up higher and slower and walk slower

  • hmmm, it seems to only affect falls? not jumps or walking?

  • Mario in outer space.

  • @SuperMario9080 outter space has no gravity....

  • @44GreenJB Actually... Mario on the moon.

  • This code with the moon jump code = SUPER AWESOME SKY MARIO

  • Ha, nice gimmick.

  • this code is really old actually cuz its just a derivative of moon jump by setting the value for 8133b1bc from 4220 to something lower like 1000

  • @supermariorick That doesn't work well because simpler codes just set a constant to the Y gravity, resulting in a bad effect. Also, no other code prior to this affected also objects gravity, which isn't as simples as setting a simple variable.

  • HES IN SPAISE

  • I would suggest making Mario move a little bit slower. I don't know about you but I don't often see people on the moon running at high speeds. Other than that, this looks cool.

  • @cpPete993 Yeah, what I often see on the moon is just jogging

  • Idea: Double the jump height, and slow down the rate of acceleration toward the ground. Would that make for a better low gravity code?

  • ... Who put Halo 3 in the Nintendo 64?...

  • Hey Frauber, when did you first play Super Mario 64?

  • Would you ever consider working on PAL codes?

  • Fireworks is pretty 8D

  • This seems like it would work for space levels.

  • this would look great in my Super Mario Galaxy 2 hack!

  • Is there a way to restrict a gameshark code to only work on a certain level? If someone made a moon level, it'd be interesting to see this code be applied to it.

  • I'm interested in what the cannons do!

  • @randoguy101 They throw Mario very far, depending on the diretction it's likely that Mario will hit the level boundaries.

  • What's The Code?

  • @AwesomelukeyProject Not ready for release, I'm rewriting it.

  • @frauber u should have made jumps also higher and slower and the running very small slow jumps cuz u cant run on the moon
