The movies is based on a a real telegram sent by Sonny Barger (Hell's Angles leader) to president LBJ, offering their services as "guerilla fighters" in Vietnam. (LBJ declined).

I saw this film in 1989 together with the 1988 film The Expendables, where can i find this dvd Nam Angels it was on dvd and now gone :-(

@rexrex118 It's not gone. You can get it from Roger Corman's shop on ebay: "legendarycormanfilms". Their stock might be running low though.
