The kids are great! But whoever wrote the harmonies for this chorus messed up on the "-ly" in "slowly". They clearly should be singing an F, but you had them singing an F#. Seems minor, but it's actually very glaring. Otherwise very nice.

@cloudstrife1288 the harmony was changed from the original to simplify it for the kids. switching back and forth from the F for "slowly" to the F# for the "seems" was too confusing. especially as the "seems" even switches back and forth from F to F# on its own! so we had to choose one or the other. F# won out. if you listen to the piano version, you'll hear we switched the chords accordingly to accomodate the harmony.

sorry it disagrees with you, but it was a necessary change. :)

Frankly, I don't think that your citicism can hold any water considering the range of artists these kids are exposed to: Joni Mitchell, Velvet Underground, Marvin Gaye, Fleetwood Mac, Journey, Survivor, The Bangles, Alphaville, Styx, Nick Drake, The Cure, The Church, Suzanne Vega, The Beatles, Tom Waits, Aretha Franklin, The Beach Boys, etc. etc. all fit your "real music" criteria.
