Robbie doesnt write his own songs, liam on the other hand has writen alot of famous tracks for oasis e.g Roll with it, supersonic,bring it on down,do you no what i mean, go let it out and he contributed towards wonderwall. Liam has a rock edge to his voice, where robbie has the pop/boyband sort, cant compare two genre`s of music. but idd say liams more of a composer and lyricist than robbie will ever be.

@twotellys12 1) All of the songs you mention are written by Noel, 2) Different vocal styles don't imply quality - try to compare Mercury to Lennon or Daltrey to Plant, I'd say that is fundamentally pointless. 3) I am sorry but as ridiculous as it sounds Robbie is even a better guitar player than Liam (Little James demo so far is the only example where I've heard Liam play guitar, if you know the alternative please share the link), Robbie pulled of nice version of "The nun song". love them both

@TheBaldyheed All of his tracks are co-written by him, the question of whether Guy Chambers played a big role but that's still bigger than Liam's Songbird and his other songs for Oasis. I am classically trained pianist, do use Cubase and Reason, and still I wouldn't reserve the right to accuse someone of not knowing music - you're meant to feel it and it's subjective. When you call Robbie crap, you're attacking some epic tracks: "Feel", "Sexed up", "Lazy days" and "Angels" just to name a few.

Robbie williams has not wrote one song, co writting as you probably know is a cop out for someone who is not a good song writter, he may have mearly added a sentence or even just read through it and agreed that he liked it. You are right about the songs, some of them are beautiful, Angels for example is a fantastic piece of music and very moving. However, it was Guy who wrote all these songs and all Robbie had to do was sing it.

I have never heard Liam moan about his life or the struggle that may also occur by being famous, he just gets on stage, does his thing & goes home.
