  • didn't realized I needed "a pair of dikes" to remove the staples!

  • That is a tack puller not a staple puller!

  • It would be perfect to see a full upholstery job on large corner sofas.....if possible. Thanks.

  • Hi Chris the vids are great wish you had more or even some to sell. Im very interested in upholstery but have never done any. Ive made soft furnishings etc but not the upholstery. I cant get into a class and im hoping to get private tuition but its not easy. Keep the vids coming please.

    Thanks

  • Instead of a staple remover, I use a modified flat head screwdriver. It is simple to make, just grind the sides of the screwdriver to the width of the staples. Then, sharpen the tip on the flat edges to a knife edge. Use a dremel tool and cut slit from the tip in the middle of the blade. Push the tip under the staple and rock side to side prying the staple out. No hammer needed. If the staple breaks or only one side comes out, you can insert the staple into the slit in the tool and twist it out.

  • Would it be best to strip a couch bare bones and upholster..or can u upholster without stripping previous cloth on the couch?

  • Great Vid!!! Thanks For The Tip, I'm Just Getting Into DIY Upholstrey And Would Love To See A Good Corner Stapleing Vid.
