  • I think this is brilliant and am surprised that so many have voted against it.

Is it because you're an atheist I wonder?

  • I love this ahhhhhhhhhhhh

  • viewer number 7000 .. WOOOOOH! :D

  • Viewer 7,614, WOOOOOH! :D

  • is venus the one on the right

  • Yes.

  • amazing mate!

  • Sir, are you thunderf00t ?

  • Yes, this is thunderf00t's.

  • Yes.

  • Thanks for this info. I always wondered which 'light' in the sky was Jupiter and other planets. This is pretty amazing!

  • Thank you so very much for taking the time out to post this video,Very informative thank you.

  • awesome man - i love gazing at the galxy, only wish I could afford decent equipment to do it with.

  • does this occur during december only??

    if so, on what date??

  • I don't think its an annual event.

  • are they still visible to see though? it would be cool too see one of the planets. and record it. ;-)

  • Gorgeous

I've seen it but without knowing! now i know thank you so very much for the info.

  • Oh, I thought Jupiter was the bright one because it seemed bigger and all. But it just turns out Venus is brighter.

  • because venus is closer to the sun and nearer to the earth.. you can see venus brighter than that at dawn.

  • Son of a bitch, I missed that. That would have been a sight to see.

  • watch?v=OkiV3WzWW50

  • Are you drunk in this video?

  • amazing!!!

  • Amazing footage.

  • Gorgeous sky, gorgeous city! Wish I was there :)

  • Great explanation. Of course Venus is on Jupiter's left from here (NZ)

  • Thanks for this info! Will have to check it out!

  • Awesome! I've seen these last week without even knowing!

  • I caught a bit of Venus Friday night, but she was too low in the sky to see anything other than a wavy, undulating orb.

  • YES!!

I have seen Jupiter as well in a telescope, it is certainly a sight to be held. Another reason why I study Astrophysics.

  • They look so close...

  • i was confused because those man made satellites kind of look like planets but i think i seen jupiter and venus because they were in the same position as in this vid.

  • woohoo, thanks for the vid of the presidents castle and tv tower(palin's eifel tower?)

can't wait to go back to praha in spring, the beer, the food, the sidewalks paved in marble. touring the the castle in your video for a 3rd time(real cool bar within walking distance that we always end up at) and witnessing a fully functioning mass transit system in action.

  • Damnit, damnit to all hell, I ran upstairs to have a look at sunset, and the cloud must be about eleventy miles thick. no chance of seeing this. Awesome vid, as usual

  • WOW!

  • Venus in Prague, hmm, MUST have reminded you of the hot Czech whores ...

  • Good camera, that it can easily pick up planets above all that light pollution - not that Prague isn't very pretty.

Got my scope trained at the skies. A shame there's only clouds to see.

  • I want a telescope :(

  • its been cloudy in sydney for months, haven't had a good crack at the sky for to long.

  • What is the camera you are using? It's a great night time shot.

  • Prague has and Eiffel Tower?

Other than that, is it relly true that Czech women are as HOT as the falling melted ice shield that you described in "Why Do People Laugh At Creationists - Part 6?

  • Both Czech and Polish Women are smoking hot. I was just there this fall and you see little to no "big" girls like you would here in N.A. or western Europe. It's sweet I tell you!

  • I recommend Ethiopia to you. Not many fat chicks running around there.

  • hahaha, na das ist ja wohl klar oder?

  • That's neat.

I've recently read that during part of the year, Mars overtakes Jupiter as the 4th brightest object in the sky.

  • That's such an incredible view, what do you do that sent you to Prague?

  • I remember looking at Jupiter and Venus through my first telescope. I got all excited when I saw the red dot and moons around Jupiter.

  • so cool

  • Awesome, I was looking at them last night.

  • mmmmmm, delicious cake.

  • Thunderf00t video = instant 5-star

  • but sometimes its hard to rate while you're laughing at IDiots so hard

  • I have Starry Night Enthusiast version 6 and you can see the exact points to look at and an exact recreation of the event with this tool. So awesome!

  • Breathtaking in spite of the ground level light pollution.

  • Fascinating. How do you know all this stuff? I like how you explained the position of the sun and the moon.. by pointing to them through the earth. That made it easier to visualize. I have never been to Prague. How is it? Thanks for posting.

  • i wonder where he is

  • The video mentioned it multiple times..

  • i was joking :P

  • I watched this video with no volume and saw hands moving around the sky touching the stars......... I just had an Epiphany, Thunderf00t IS in fact GOD. You clever little deity you...

  • dude, that is so amazing, I need to look up to the sky more often.

    Amazing...

  • Very interesting. These posts are always enjoyable, Thunderf00t. Thanks.

  • Pretty sweet. Thanks Tf00t.

  • You sound different in this video for some reason.

  • reminds me of my earth science class. i loved that course :>

  • Pretty cool!

But are you only wearing a t-shirt? What's the weather in Prauge?

  • Hmm... I think I'll be going from class to class when this rises in America, so I might get to see it.

  • awesome
