This is what made me think Sherry would be in 5. All Sherry had left was Claire and when Claire decided to bugger off Sherry was left alone and Wesker would have taken advantage of her vounrability and would become the father figure to her. So when we saw her like 10 years later she would have been cold and hateful towards Claire for abandoning her. (Claire in Shevas place as it should have been)

Well I heard that they're planning on changing up the gameplay, like how RE4 & 5 are more action oriented. As for the story I doubt Capcom would change it up, but who knows.
