Erm... Am I the only one who thinks that several of the notes were not in tune? Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of Apocalyptica and I understand how difficult it is to get those high notes right on a cello, but I cringed a few times during this video.

i definitely always notice that about apocalyptica. i think it has something to do with them standing up. i play cello too, and it is harder without frets, but we're never moving around or standing up while playing. these guys take it to a whole new level. they might be wasted too.

I never comment on other people's videos, but I have to say... that clear, tight note at 2:04... He just tosses his head back and struts away afterward like, "I know that was totally bad-ass."

Really, though, they do try to be so meticulous and perform at their best and it's got to be some pretty hard work, but they have to congratulate themselves for moments like that. That was perfection.
