I'm not sure in what proceedings faeries and leprechauns would be relevant subjects to bring up. In a closing speech to a jury I suppose. But if you're referring to faeries and leprechauns, whether by analogy or not, hasn't the advocacy gone wrong somewhere? Maybe your Irish friend had made a bet with the other side's counsel in the robing room to see if he could utter the phrase "faeries and leprechauns" in court. Such wagers are not unknown in order to liven things up a bit in a boring trial.

Dis man is a legend man you kno what he can work miracles - he did get my Leon off the rap wot was in court for he askes so many qestions you jus get like dazzled and he then not wait for the answer like he ask other qestion before you have chance like to get your answe rout and then he has asked so many qestions you like get bombed out and man the guy jus got lost wiv it all then the judge said he was gone to throw me case out cos the witness never turn up at court man he is jus amazin use him
