The reason other countries may have more good players is because the kids grow up around it more than in the USA where soccer (footall) isn't the main sport. If you got rid of the other top sports in the USA and had them grow up with soccer instead of whatever sport they play. USA would be just as good its just that our talent pool is so spread out.
