There's only one farm I know of within driving distance that offers organically raised beef for retail sale. It's hard to find, and in my neck of the woods, costs about 3 times as much as the supermarket crap. I'm just eating less meat.

Actually the carbon monoxide part wouldn't hurt you because it's not going anywhere near your respiratory system so it can't bind into your hemoglobin you'd just burp it out and the only way it could get into your hemoglobon is if you inhaled what you burped out and even then the level would probably be like 0.05 ppm so you'd haave to keep burping out and inhaling what you burped thousands of times before you'd evenn come close to having carbon monoxide poisoning.
