  • i would have made a good comment but it seems like everybody stole wat i was gonna say lol

  • Violence has nothing to do with video games or music or movies. I don't know of one game that would inspire someone to kill. Music definitely has nothing to do with it, unless the person is at the insanity level of the Ac Dc NightProwler guy, or the Catcher in the Rye freak. I don't understand how anyone could get violent from a movie, either. No sense. The media is tupid, just trying to weed out the bands that they don't like.

  • Look at the fan at 1:40 there aren't many fans like that anymore, nowadays with all the emo stuff going around like black veil bitches, alesana, asking alexandria, bring me the horizon, and guess what, the other day some 110 pound emo girl told me she puts people on the ground at concerts, you know real violence is disappearing when emos think they're hardcore

  • @SlipknotHeadless that only goes to show what pussies people have become when emo girls think they're violent or dangerous

  • EMBRACE THE FUCKING VIOLENCE!!!

  • Slipknot is the only band on Earth (on the entire damn planet) that you can listen to and jump while sitting down.

  • i had the guns, i had the ammo, i had the knvies, the bombs, the plans. I had the blueprints of the school. i listened to fucking RAP! i had my list ready, i was gonna kill everyone in the school. Shoot it up, worse than columbine. you know what stopped me? a friend. ya know how? by reminding me of slipknot. i listened to them, jammed out for 6 days straight. by the time i got done headbanging and panching the floor, i didnt need to shoot up the school. SHUT THE FUCK UP SOCIETY.

  • So thats what call of duty one looks like

  • how about the parents take there finger out there ass and take some fukin control over there kids if they dnt want them to play violent video games or listen to rock music then sort it out bunch of cunts lol o btw i love slipknot and im yet to have a criminal record so such my chode ass clowns

  • school shootings are normally from fucking bullying

  • camera girl is hoooooot

  • woahhh what the hell was that at 1:06 lol????

  • ahhh back in the late 90's....when there was controversy in music.

  • And the victor with 31 aliens hit thank you lol joey

  • And the victor with 22

  • slipknot lyrics are retarded and the fans

  • @kornboy3 yeah your comment makes no sense and there retarded???

  • the male interviewer notices the meaning of life at 0:18, just off screen to the left, then forgets it and tries to look into your soul.

  • 0:51 = my work phone... it scared the crap out of me

  • this is fucking bullshit. slipknot are one of the very few things that make me tap onto the anger valve and fucking release it in a non destructive manner. give me 2 weeks driving around looking at those fuckind idiotic faces around me without my music, and you'll have more than a few bodies to count at the end of the day. The only non-sane thing is to keep it in you and repress it like 90% of retarded so called "civilized people",say hi to your shrink when you start developing tics in the face.

  • How about being a parent and make it your business to watch what your stupid kids do/ watch? They get fresh, beat there ass. Its not child abuse, its obedience. The reason most people grow up to be dumbasses (which is 90% of this world) is because they lack a good beating. Every time i see a parent buy an underaged kid a game rated 18+, It makes me want to beat the kid for them and then parent after. Someone who blames a game or band because they failed as a parent needs to be killed.

  • @Coldfuzionanime47 beating kids make them turn out like some killer or some shit, if they can't handle the abuse they hold the anger inside till one day they let it all go. it takes good morale.

  • @baconater4000 That or bootcamp -_-,

  • WTF 1:06

  • the death toll is 21 aliens so thank you

  • My favarite slipknot member is jowey

  • wow that's old footage of george stroumboulopolis, too.

  • you realize when this happens, the parents of these kids had nothing to do with it. When the kids do badly in school, the parents say he didn't have friends and he had poor grades, but when the kids do well, the parents are the first ones out there trying to get a little credit, no offense to a few good parents out there, but parents are the most full of shit people out there.

  • joey playing time crisis :D EPIC

  • why do they always blame the metal heads

  • Wow, like the kids saying that they stabbed the guy to death, because of Disasterpiece. Music can't make you do something. You still have to make that decision to do something, bands can't make you do something and neither can their music.

  • Violence in America can't have anything to do with the fact that you can get a fucking assult rifle with your french fries at McDonald's, nah it's gotta be the MUSIC and the VIDEO GAMES. Gimmie a break.

  • 0.37 man says clipknot wtf

  • That reporter is full of shit my faverout slipknot song is i am hated and i admit i have said im fat ugly and proud so fuck you but i never punched anyone because of it

  • i think its funny more people die on black Friday shopping deals than they do at metal concerts if you ask me its those damn spoiled kids and their parents

  • the guy who wanna brake noses is paid to say that

  • the album Iowa, actually talks about the sick things that would happen in Iowa and shit, like evry other song, they talk about shit, slipknot has never killed anyone, theyre not violent people, the fuck is this interview

  • so what exactly are they blaming for violence? games? no offence but thats the parents fault if they aint taught the kid the difference between reality and video games.. its just common sence.

  • why the fuck didnt anyone comment about 1:05 :p

  • ohh the 90's

  • haha did you see joey shooting clown LOL

  • them playing a shooting game just makes it that much better... never mind starting at joey :oP.

  • there's more violence on a 4hr period on CNN than any movie, video game, song or live show i know. "some bands embrace the violence" they dont embrace jack shit, dickhead! and as for columbine it was ridiculous tht they blamed Manson for tht, "The president was dropping bombs over seas that day, yet I'M the bad guy because i sing some rock and roll songs". i think tht quote from his BFC interview says it all about the hypocricy of society and its attitude towards youth culture and metal.

  • @stephxbones If you think US press is violent. you should take a look at the press in other countries.

  • @MyBandZach yeah i guess, like the press in the middle east is kinda fucked up.

  • @stephxbones read the lyrics to frantic disembowelment by cannibal corpse. ok bye bye

  • iv been into metal basicly my whole life since i knew wat metal was i loved it iv never walked up to someone and punched them in the face or anything infact if i got angry or something i will listen to parkway drive or slipknot or metallica and swing my arms around in my room and let me tell you crazy news presenters and everyone that says 'oh metal you meen that stuff that people listen to and go crazy and kill everyone' it doesnt if anything metal calms me i release all my anger in the pit

  • Ok well gotta go slaughter my parents bye :D

  • I WANT JOEY'S HAIR!! :D

  • fuck u clown¡¡

  • watch?v=V5HH28XbCnw Paul Gray tribute. Just watch. Don't comment, don't rate, don't sub. Your view is worth enough. Thanks :)

  • how the fuck do they embrace violence? how is corey influencing violence by sharing his past experiences is lyrics? this is bullshit ...

funny how back in the day, the amount of shit Jim Morrison got in for saying "girl we couldn't get much higher"

yet theres lyrically retarded douche bags like pitbul today saying "lets burn this motherfucker down!"

i guess rock & metal is an easy Black-sheep for the government, if you know what i mean.

  • violence was around long before tv & music was. If it triggers someone to go out and do something fucked up there's probably more to the story than just the music and blaming only the music could be ignoring a much larger problem in that persons life or in human beings as a whole.

  • 1:07 <3

  • Let there be mosh pits! :)

  • I love how people want to point the blame at the music industry for children's violence. What about sports?! People go out after their home team win/loses, start riots and burn half the fucking city down. When are people going to start taking responsibility for their own in-actions?

I find Metal to be an outlet for me personally. I remember the first time I heard Dyers Eve from Metallica. It's like it fucking spoke to me. I feel better about shit AFTER listening to metal. Some fucking people!!

  • ok off topic but I FUCKING AND I MEAN FUCKING HATE POLITICS!!! THE WORLD WAS BETTER WITHOUT POLITICAL PEOPLE WHO CALL THEMSELVES "'LEADERS" WHILE THEY'RE THE ONES WHOSE ACTUALLY PUSHING THEIR COUNTRIES TO ALL OUT WAR!!!

  • that motherfucker is trying to blam metal music for violence and hes wearing a sepultira shirt? hypacritical much?

  • I think slipknot is the very tame compared to music like Cannibal Corpse Debauchery or Six Feet Under...Music is just for people to listen to so people can live out those fantasies through the artists lyrics

  • lol these mother fuckers are so full of it. Slipknot, nor any form of metal has shit to do with violence, period. Its the individual who chooses to make a choice of violence or not.. and for the record, the fucking NEWS shows fucked up shit everyday.. blame the news and dipshit parents who dont have enough balls to keep their fucking children in check

  • Wow haha

I'm only 13 and ive been listening to metal for like a couple years

  • @ChiefDrakula I've been listening to metal since I was just a kid. It's just music.

  • People listen to metal because it relates to aggression. And if parents think it's violent, don't let your kids listen to it. They have those advisory stickers and warnings for a purpose.

  • @ChiefDrakula I have been listening to metal since i was 10 years old and this genre really has saved from myself. I`m sure there ain`t no person walking around this planet who doesn`t have some anger or violence inside him/her. Now imagine when this anger grows and grows, burning inside people, until finally...BOOM!

But we can easily prevent those things thanks to metal. Because in the concerts people can scream and jump and get rid of their anger before something bad happens.

  • LMAO Rap is worse, what the fuck are these douchebags talking about violence influenced metal? Rappers speak on guns, killings, drive-bys and other shit, yet they want to take on Metal...

  • @818KLOWNER the reason why people bag on metal is because metal has violence in the concerts and people that misunderstood the lyrics of the bands....plus im a metal head so im not bagging on metal

  • So they complain about Metal music with lyrics about violence, but still make gangster rap a main labeled genre??? Doesn't that sound a little.....oh I dunno.....JUDGEMENTAL!!!

  • NoFx said it best "I take responsibility for what I've Done, but not for who I am"

  • @MrSschuette so true man

  • give me a break, voilence doesn't happen when someone listens to music or plays doom.

what happened to crazy, what there's no more crazy? did the US just eliminate the word and meaning?

my biggest question is: what about the parents?

most violence happens because of what happens at home with the parents, do the parents have nothing to do with it, they just don't take responsibilty they blame something else so they feel better

  • this is bullshit

just becuz they are playing violent games and make metal doesn't mean they ARE violent

  • Total fucking bullshit!

  • I thought that the camera girl whas hot..until she showed the whole face and startedto talk

  • They're exactly right. I drum for a local metal band called Harvester, and we have violent lyrics... The point is that we'd never actually act on them. I'm by no means an aggressive person, but I love bands like Slipknot and Lamb of God. When people ask me why I listen to them if I'm not aggressive, I explain that I'm human, and like everyone I have aggressive feelings. The difference is that I take those feelings out through music instead of shooting/beating somebody up.

  • @slpkntmggt06 dude harvester from cleveland? they fuckin suck!

  • @FIDOtheofficial Nah, dude... We're Harvester from Baton Rouge. I've never heard of a Harvester from Cleveland, but we're copyrighted, so they'd need to change their name anyway if they get bigger.

  • what!? this is bull!! 'the kings of violence' ??!!

  • Anyone else find it funny talking about violence but the INTERVIEWER is playing a fps game?

  • the 90s had the biggest influence

  • They talk about bands being violent yet we are at war with two countries...

  • @Alkhemist10 amen man fucken ignorant ppl that cant look around them to see the violence they make s they blame it on metal bands cause they dont have to deal with theyre own shit

  • @Alkhemist10 Yeah... come to think about it I agree. How can people discriminate against music when we have presidents and leaders saying "Oh well... we're going to fuck your country up. Gonna stick our noses in your business and tell you what to think."

  • @Alkhemist10 I fail to see how this comment is even relevant. They arent talking about the effects of war on society. They are talking about music.

  • @MyBandZach That 4 month old comment is completely relevant considering that they are trying to demonize a band for being "violent" yet these hypocrites fail to demonize how we are in two countries killing thousands of people. 68 people have agreed with my post, I guess your the only dumbass. trolol

  • best part of this vid is the sepultura shirt on strombo at 0:45

  • I love how shocked joey looks at 0:53 :P

  • They probably pay'd them ass holes to say that slipknot promotes violence!

  • people blame the media (like Slipknot, Marilyn Manson, Rammstein, and Eminem) cus they are afraid of the truth of why they did it.

  • fucking dipshits shawns right its the parents that need to control there kids for me music and violent video games is an escape or a release and it gets the anger out and also writing music helps to

  • Maybe the violence isnt related to how the kids are educated... its how the kids ARENT educated

  • I dislike the people at concerts like the guy who wants to break peoples noses. dicks

  • People don't get the difference between a job to keep you alive while putting out some true entertainment for people and just some p.o'd idiots that listen to it.

  • haha joey shoots clown at 2:30

  • Okay this is going to be very clear. Everyone has the right to say whatever the FUCK they want. Parents not taking responsibility and letting the tude or xbox or world of warcraft do the fucking babysitting. Where thats all they know. They do have safety parental settings on consoles now a days. Yes kids will do anything they can to get what they want especially if the parent out right forbids it. I was a jehovahs witness growing up i know sheltered life it fucking sucks!

  • it was actually marilyn manson cds they found in the columbine shooters rooms

  • listening to angry music doesnt make you violent..its the way you take it..if your dumb enough to take it literal then thats the problem..its not the music..its the stupidity of the people listening to it...its made to be enjoyed not an excuse to do all sorts of violence

  • Those are ones who shoot up the schools! Jk jk, the kids who do fucked up shit usually have are already messed in the head, they just need that push to do it. Slipknots awesome btw

  • cuul

  • they have definetely changed throughout the years

  • XD i love how joey just keeps playing the game

  • Only stupid fucks listen to good music then after go out killing innocent people

  • @2:31 well done joey, well done haha

  • Try Snuff, that song is as peaceful as they come.

  • Clown's sooo damn right! it's all the parents not the kids. all the whinny ass adults think thier children will turn out bad, fuck em' it would be all parents in the end.

  • Lol did they ever think to blame the ending of woodstock on bad acid?!?! Or maybe really really good acid..........

  • people are are stupid how can you not tell the difference between right and wrong ridiculous to think all people wanna do now a days is be fucken badasses when in the realty we are all just trash in the world no one stands above nor below each other so fucken assholes who think they can just beat the shit out of some one for no reason is in itself showing just how society lightens punishment on people who are so easily manipulated by what they hear people cant and wont think forthemselves now

  • fuckin hate these people... every time some act of violence is committed you don't blame rock n roll, asshole! the problem lies with people like you! you don't see fuckin 6 year olds at Slipknot concerts, idiot. these are teenagers and adults we're talking about so don't sit there and fuckin compare the two!!!

  • as a behavioral researcher, I can say that violent music really DOES NOT make people more violent or stuff like that. It has been the topic of many studies en NO STUDY gives a clear indication that it would be the case. + I Love Slipknot like crazy and I'm everything but violent, it's just nonsense

  • 0:52 he's scared :O

  • they always blame the metal bands.... When im pissed i listen to slipknot and I calm down

  • 1:05 crazy sound. :)

  • the titel need to be "clown rtalking about violance" joey dont care he just playing

*sorry for the bad inglifh :S*

  • @TheAlex18100 that made me laugh

  • theres nothing that pisses me off more then when fucking dipshits try to blame metal bands for other peoples actions

  • @promassacre oh fuck yeah its all full of shit, i love slipknot, the lyrics are awesome and why they inspire me

  • @promassacre

what about when someone blames a murder on grand theft auto.....

  • @junkmode It's the same bullshit. Only the people who don't have a fucking brain cell in them say "oh you play Grand theft auto oh thats why you killed all those people". Man I tell ya I fucking hate people who don't know shit there saying.

By the way I love GTA.

  • @promassacre Yeah like when some one shot somebody and blammed it on the song "Bodies" by Drowning Pool

  • haha 2:30

  • i love how joey is shooting a purple gun in a creep mask :D

  • Slipknot doesnt kill people. Guns dont kill people. Dumbasses kill people. The idiots who do not have the fucking common sense not to kill someone are the killers here. No matter how hard your fucking life is you cant tell me that you have never been taught that killing and violence is bad. So those who think that Slipknot is the problem can go fuck theirselves. \m/ Maggot 4 Life \m/

  • I like how Shawn and Joey are just playing videogames

  • It is nice to see in the beginning "New music" :D. But yeah, same here, when im f*cking angry and want to beat the sh*t out of somebody, i listen to slipknot and i calm down .

  • It takes different minds to listen to Slipknot, not just kids that think "it's cool!!".

  • 2:33, headshot

  • just because slipknot has a lot of energy and they get involved in fisical pain, does't mean you have to be violent when listening to their songs. im a girl and when im mad i feel like killing someone and when im drunk i become satan but listening to slipknot while mad is like therapy, i calms me down and cleans me from inside out and i can take pain and disappointment again... eep doing what youre doing slipknot! \m/, i love you and i miss paul so much r.i.p <3

  • whats this film?

  • slipknot doesnt make me more violent yes i am violent yes i do get in fights yes i like to rock the fuck out and yes i am a maggot slipknot doesnt make me violent im violent because i want to be like that in fact some times when i listen to slipknot it calms me down (mainly because i scream) anyway stay (SIC) always!!!!

  • what pisses me off is parents see these videos and take off these old fucks who say were mindnumb and think were stupid and bring down our music and call us hicks, but i say FUCK THEM!! so raise your voice and say FUCK YOU, YOULL NEVER UNDERSTAND ME CONFORMIST!!! because slipknot is that little voice inside you that says FUCK YOU to the people you hate stay (sic) maggots!

  • Joey Dont Care hahahahahahaha

  • It's just an image ffs. To think that kids will go kill or hurt eachother because they listen to slipknot is just not right.

  • if you asked me I'd say music (no matter what kind of music) keeps kids away from violence and drugs and all that shit....

  • Clown is right its th parents

  • Slipknot saved me too

  • @XretraxX Stay (sic)! People just don't understand how influential a band can be on someone's life.

  • you must be very stupid or/and weak mentally to be influenced by music tv or games and for me slipknot is a way of leting the steam off, not making the level of agression bigger

  • this is bullshit. whenever i'm in a shitty mood and i feel like killing somone, i'll listen to Slipknot and the feeling goes away cuz i'm killing the assholes that made me mad in my mind.

    Slipknot for life.

  • "dude i beat u by like 21 zombies, thanku" lmao

  • 2:30 lol joey XD

  • Let the retards think that Slipknot makes ur more violent. its a pretty excuse for them when we punch their "pretty-angelic-daddy" sons cos they insult us ^^

  • I hate how like violence is being caused by video games, movies and music. I have to say tho that this might be true depending how old you are, at the age of 13 or so, you shouldn't have any problems in realising what is reality and what is fantasy. But blaming all these video games and music (lol?) is just ridicilous. Violence is often based on SOCIAL PROBLEMS, NOT GAMES, MOVIES OR MUSIC. It's about sanity.

  • Music calms the beasts, and that is my case... Whenever I'm angry I listen to slipknot and look at me, I haven't killed anybody!

  • haha trying to make them look like bad guys interviewing them when they are busy playing a game

  • Slipknot makes me less violent because I am head banging or jamming along on my guitar and screaming instead of killing someone, and people in the mosh pits are very nice, as soon as you fall down or trip, you are picked back up, and nobody is throwing fists on purpose, they are just playfully bumping eachother and it's a positive way of getting out anger. The mainstream and the people who are not metalheads will never understand, and because of that, they can FUCK RIGHT OFF.

    SLIPKNOT 4 LIFE!!!

  • SEVENDUST

  • Fuck off SlipKnot makes people more violent. Yea at a gig, but thats the idea of a metal gig. Its not the music. Music is people saying things, not telling people to do things. As they said

  • Well said.

Parents shouldn't blind their kids. Just teach them to see. Let them listen to their ART, and then talk to them about how they aren't encouraging people to be violent, they are instead expressing themselves in a positive way. I'm only 18, and don't have a kid, but I'll let him listen to whatever music he wants, then talk to him about it and be as open-minded as I can.

  • It's the parents responsibility to teach their children right from wrong, fantasy from reality. Parents blame their kid's stupid actions on music, video games, etc. when they have run out of other people to blame and can't take responsibility for their shitty parenting. Given that each person should be responsible for their own actions.. children learn by example.

  • i listen to slipknot cuz they are good, not cuz they talk about violence, i dont even know wtf they talk about half the time, i just hear good singing and good screaming, if a fan is going to twist the lyrics and blame others on their actions, that is not the bands problem, there is nothing they could do about, i bet if they started talking about love nothing would change in the fans

  • wat did happen 2 woodstock anyway?

  • slipknot makes me fell relaxed xD

  • Slipknot makes me calm!

You know if I get angry I just play their music and than I calm down I can't play calm music to calm down I need to play Slipknot music to calm down that's life! \m/

  • sounds to me like seven dust are some pussies

  • The news is more to blame for violence in this world then any song ever written , these fucks dont know what their talking aboot

  • New has more blame for violence then any song ever written , these fucks dont know what their talking aboot

  • God these reporters are dumb. Video games aren't to blame and Slipknot is not to blame. Everyone wants to blame someone for things like school shootings, but the parents are really to blame. Explain this shit to your kids, just like Clown says. He is a wise man.

  • I am the victor with 21 aliens here, thank you

    xD Joey we love you

  • 2:29 HEAD SHOT!!! 5000000 points for Joey

  • this is so stupid, alright, were in the most violent time right? so why is it then hundreds of years ago was it ok to stone people, or put them into torture devices, or murder your adulterous wives, but all of a sudden now video games and slipknot is the culprit? Just because a band like slipknot adresses the violence and hate people feel towards each other doesn't mean that they are the cause of and / or advocating violence. It is human nature, we all feel it, only some act on it.

  • slipknot makes me happy

  • i love how they are playing a gun game as they say "no we dont promote violence"

  • hahahahaha 2:31-2:35

  • i dont understand i dont think slipnot is not that viliont

  • dont believe in violence or using it, if pushed i will protect myself obviously but going out to harm doesn't interest me unlike several in my generation. i think what has got to be realised is through generations we killed each other to survive until we conformed to such a society as today, i personally prefer a safe society but i think you have got to appreciate we are not becoming more violent we are only just learning to control it. its all opinion i guess
