Thank you so much for posting this film. I just sent back to Netflix my copy because the disc came cracked and really wanted to see the film. I didn't realize it was posted on YouTube and happened to accidentally stumble across this. Wow! What a performance by Kiefer. I didn't realize he was so intense and so brilliant an actor way back then. A truly wonderful film and thank you again for posting this.

For some reason, child abuse is incredibly hard to prosecute. It doesn't surprise me that his parents were never charged, or at least never convicted. I know a man who abused his daughter, was charged with four felony counts of child abuse, and was sentenced to only 18 months in prison. He served only 3.
