  • It looks like a cakewalk cause thay making it good for tv.. when I was in bootcamp in 97, that motherfucking short bastard that was my drill instructor was the devil!!!

  • @ILLSLAPAHO Must have been Petty Officer Ballentine.. He was my CC.. Short as shit.. I called him the walking coffee table..

  • @themetalchef Naw, I was there from May- Jul 1997.. My RDC was OSC Marshall, EN1 Bello and MM1 Kinicky...DIV 274...

  • Woooow I play high school football and we train harder than that!!!

  • this looks like a cakewalk compare to the marines training

  • i got 6 days left and im off to great lakes cant wait!! wish me luck

  • that sucks, they do everything in one building now... im glad im not there now...

  • hahahaha god i'm gald i went Army...smh @ this lol

  • Nice! How about teaching recruits to respect senior PO's and shave before morning quarters.

  • Come on guys, this is a basic training video. If they had actually put what really happens during basic how many people do you think would join?? All the branches are phyiscally and emotionally demanding. I'm in the Air Force and yeah say "Chair force" all you want, the training programs are really getting physical. We're all here for the same reason, all making the same sacrifice and all fighting the SAME WAR!

  • @Kayleigh27 Oorah Zoomie, Semper Fi. Marine Corps Tankers All the Way!! OORAH!

  • what...the...fuck????

  • wow 1.5 miles....sad looks easy

  • i haven't seen many videos of how they actually treat you there in boot camp.i like how they make seem so easy and fun o.o

  • im 18 and going to bootcamp in November, 2011 lol wish me luck

  • @TheDough93 good luck :)

  • @TheDough93 Thanks for serving our country recruit. You'll be fine.

  • @TheDough93 Semper Fi Recruit!

  • FTN

  • Damn!!! Nothing AT ALL like San Diego in 1993.And That was cake! This looks like a complete joke. It's a shame.

  • @willsworthy You should have been there in '67, this video looks like a Vacation compared to RTC San Diego.

  • Great adventure.

  • Wtf is this?? I thought for sure it was more challenging than this video made it look. If it's this easy, I joined the wrong branch. ;) USMC 0300 ship out in two weeks!!

  • lol you dont bring shit to bootcamp and if you do you send it all home you dont sleep the first 2 days and you dont walk gingerly off the bus you sprint and get yelled at in the golden 13

  • HOLY JESUS! What the fuck was this!? At 5:00 I'd seen a chunky officer with a nice ass pair of tits but exceeding body fat percent and at 7:53 could someone please explain why these sumbitches are skipping like fairies at The Castro in San Fransisco!?

  • Wow, this is Navy Boot Camp? The kids that ride the short bus in the morning can do this from their classroom! MARINES ALL THE WAY! :D

  • they have o the older version of uniform Utilities

    NWU's are better

but the NWU's are thicker witch sucks in the summer

    NWU's

  • @HAUPTMANN50 you should have seen when the material was denim

  • Navy bootcamp is for the dogs, too easy, I went through in 06 and I heard its cake compared to what I went through. So sad where the Navy is going. Atleast they court-martial females for getting prego before deployments now, kudos for them finally doing something right for once. If it was me presiding over those types of courtmartials, I would give every single one of them dishonorable for being cowardly in the line of duty.

  • @SamTheDragon31 i was there in summer of 98 and we did not have all of that fancy stuff. and with the prego females i know they got sent to shore facilities

  • Navy bootcamp is for the dogs, too easy, I went through in 06 and I heard its cake compared to what I went through. So sad where the Navy is going.

  • "Under the expert guidance and leadership of the Navy's most dedicated mentors..."

Okay, I went through Boot in the Summer of 1975, but they described our Company Commanders in the same terms. Hell, mine was totally overwhelmed by the job-- he couldn't have led a Den of Cub Scouts out of a city park. He got frustrated and started swinging, and if he'd acted like that in the fleet he'd have been kicked down a ladderwell.

We were his second company. The RTC made certain that we were his last.

  • USMC is the best, but Navy has the hottest chicks.

  • @CoolBreezeClub im so glad to here that

  • C228 Orlando, Fl.(1988)!

  • Nice BCG's LOL

  • HAHA THIS ISNT EVEN BOOTCAMP, MORE LIKE ARESORT.

  • @GCURO like what brmbmatt said this is only a video for moms and how is it like in life in bootcamp. Of course they dont yell in this video since they are showing to navy moms.

  • THIS SHIT IS WEAK. TRY MCRD SANDIEGO

  • I definitly remember getting hollard at and rushed everywhere. If this is boot camp now then I can see why there is a decline in the kind of people that show up to the boat.

  • my first step before bud/s. this looks like a breeze

  • Wow things have changed a lot over the last 26 years. ha ha

  • BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA

    AAHAHAHAHHAHAHA

  • guys am joing the navy in about week. the problem is I don't know how to swim. any help?

  • @dst7ssa they will teach you how to swim.....

  • HEY THERE WAS A GUY WEARING THE DEP SHIRT

  • dang.. they've implemented a lot more technology since i was there.

thanks for finding these clips, man.

do you know how old these videos are??

  • you know, the women are the most important part of the men that go over there. yes, women go over there too. my balls say fuck you, then my brain says fuck you. then i get passed that. i like the women that sevre.

  • my husband is there right now, igot all emotional when it started.. HURRY UP AND COME HOME BABE! loveyou

  • Wow..that place has changed quite a bit since I was there last...

  • i jus got my job and ship date yesterday im so pumped... even though my ship date is far im still happy im in

  • ok, this one. say all the words you want to. we don't care. we just don't.

  • lol. "fags". yes i'm a fag, i tried out for the seals too. how bout' moron? don't respond unless you have the right to do so.

  • fags

  • I had a question... I'm planning on going into the navy in the next month or so, my recruiter is telling me I shouldn't say anything about the bones that I've broken...Cause it may disqualify me. Should I lie about this or just be upfront. broke both my arms, and wrist with surgery on my wrist, but everything is fine as far as working out , and does not affect me at all.

  • I like how people talk so much about all the other branches on this video, don't they understand we want to protect the sea and they protect the land?

  • wow great memories i would go back again i miss boot camp send me back plzzzzz but i would like to keep my e-4 status lol

  • my cousin only got $12,000 for being in afghanistan for about 7-8 months, that's a rip off in my opinoin

  • they do not talk to you all calmly like that when u get theri this is obviously a recruiting video. boot camp isnt calm at any time especially when you first get there.

  • fuck the navy and the ARMY the won one fuckin battle and think their the shit

  • fuk the marines!!!!!! accelerate your life with the navy!!!!!!!

  • United States Marine Corps.....navy's boot camp is bitchy...... try marine corps boot camp......not for the weak....we didn't have all that high tech shit. it was all screaming, running, and old fashion stuff.

  • Marine Corps is a harder boot camp but guess who took over fallujah Iraq? The ARMY did then they gave it to the Marines to take care of The Marines Lost the City and the ARMY had to go back in to take it back. These are facts. If you don't believe me please look it up

  • keep flattering ur self, my dad was there in falluja, that's not what happened....army wishes they handed it to us. the can't even handle Iraq as it is now! all the past American wars, who won many of them, the marines, the army was always playing sidelines.

  • I think you should do some research before you make your own opinion. I understand your dad is a Marine and he has pride. But having pride and knowing facts are 2 completely different things. I respect your dad for serving his country. But before you say something like Marines won the majority of the wars and the ARMY sat on the side lines is completely biast. For Example who showed up on OMAHA BEACH on D DAY? I understand Japan as well were the Marines but thats just an example

  • OH and for the record im joiniing the Marine Corps Next year.

  • fuk yall with yall throwback equipment... yall get yall shit from the army anyways.....hand-me down jarheads......hahahahaha....

  • ur right, we do get hand me down equipment, but u know, we make do...we still kick ass. see the only reason ur doggin out the marines is because ur not good enough to be one of the few. all the branches of service is great, but the marines are just the best.!

  • cool...thats great....glad to see your proud to be a frontline soldier......me.....i value my life....its not that im not good enough....im just smart enough not to join a branch that is first to war.....its chess not checkers man.......guess the marines didnt teach you that......

  • I see where ur coming from, buts it's not that we want to do what we do, it's all about service to country and protecting our loved ones who live in this country. protecting them from people who seek to destroy everything the united states stands for....freedom and unity. although we lack unity between some cultures, as a nation we stand together.

  • i understand what you're saying....much respect to you an all other marines....im proud to be part of the military....its a great honor that not all people will receive or realize...united we stand an divided we fall.... an all branches fight to keep our nation together....as we should....GO MILITARY!!!!!!!

  • what the fuck happen to boot camp? i joined in 99 and none of this shit was there plus all the petty officers are fags, and none of them are yelling or insulting them. im glad i got out nothing but sensitive homos.

  • im sorry if i offend anyone but, im about to go in and, compared to my experience at Parris Island with NJROTC, the Navy boot camp looks so boring. I can't wait for BUD/S though. That's where the real training begins.

  • You HAve to realize this is a training video, why would they want to show this off if people were insulting them, and yelling their heads off at them you know?

  • high school sports cant be compared to ANY branch of the US MILITARY. and this video is a "nice" view of naval boot camp, I had a e-9 instructor and e-8 instructor and more screaming than you've ever heard...don't judge something till you've done it. - EN2

  • im so excited to join this looks so much fun. i just wish a job would come up so i can join. being a QNJ/dep sucks

  • was the biggest waist of time all you do is FOLD AND STAMP, AND STAMP, and oh yea FOLD AND STAMP. If you want a challenge out of boot do join the Navy its the biggest joke alive.

  • Sounds like you had a bad tour. I liked my time in the Navy. I went through the old boot camp. I like what the Navy is doing now.

  • lol This is all the politically correct version of boot camp

  • Marine Corps recruit training both Parris Island and San Diego are much much different. You can't get off the bus without a drill instructor down your neck. As for using the word "I", there is no such thing. 3rd person perspective only. I.E. "this recruit".

  • thats pretty bold for you to say asshole. seeing as you havnt been through navy boot.

  • i remember all this shit....p days fuckin sucked but after all that it gets fun

  • oh man this looks fun yet its gonna be challenging for me holding ur pee in front of everyone what if there pee was red lol i can't wait to join yay

  • Basic Training in the Navy isn't hard, however it does suck. For the first time in their life, they lose 8 weeks of freedom. Basic training for the navy might be considred weak. That estimation comes from other services. But I'll tell you this....after spending 10 years in the Navy, I wouldn't want to spend any time in any other service. Some might brag about the Army or Marines being tougher. I'm not going to say they are wrong but I'm going to say that you would prefer to Navy.

  • Comment removed

  • hahaha there hats dont say NAVY anymore, it says Recruit instead......get on your face recruit...no ricky boxing or sea bag inspections on my foward watch lol

  • I laughed everyday during my bootcamp because everyone in my division was crying from having a hard time and i thought i was in a boot camp training you how to be a woman.

  • god this looks so easy lol it looks like high school baseball PT LOL I AM GOING TO ft benning soon 11b =]

    army lead the way

  • haha they have a computer to make sure there shoes fit properly, man they look at our feet and just threw us our combat boots, u wore them weither they fit you or not

  • Boot camp has changed so much, when I was there you'd have to walk everywhere, now everything is in their ship.... I actually skipped the 50 meter swim test, I just jumped in the prone float/coverall float line.

  • haha it doesn't tell you that you won't be able to sleep for the first two days.. shit sucks so sleep on the bus in the back so they cant see you! haha

  • are you allowed to bring your xbox to navy boot camp? I'm in the Marines... so idk, i would assume navy boot camp is easy.

  • do they really have circle jerks in the marines? Im a USN Seabee... so Idk, I woul assume you wouldnt insult your own Branch? thats right, the marines are a part of the navy.

  • do they actually stand on the side of the ships like that??

  • yes. they do it when they leave and come back from deployment.. or surge. its called "manning the rails"

  • oh man i would be so scared to do that!

  • Great video sure makes you want to join today !!

  • WOw i love watching the propaganda we are showing civilians... hooyah

  • OMG this video sure brings back memories!!!

  • What. The. Fuck. I don't recognize anything that even resembles the RTC that I went through. The only real improvement I see is the computerized foot measurer and the performance based PT, all that other shit is yuppification.

  • Hmav23....I believe you. Ha haa! GOOD LUCK and serve proudly.....Bobo.

  • This is a lot different from when I went in back in 1968. For one thing,...I don't hear anyone screaming, continually at them...among other things.

  • I just got done with my first year in the navy... trust me the screaming and all the swearing is still there.. if not worst.. since just about every cheif called us "the lazy ass generation" and that they were going to make it a sure thing that our "attitude" change quickly, its just that they are not allowed to film certian things. like the screaming and all the females crying... etc etc..

  • wow. wtf. u pussies got all that good stuff. wish i was younger. i went in 97 and it was 100% worse. i cant fathom thoose that cam befor me.

  • Shit, I can't believe I graduated almost two years ago.

  • IM IN THIS VIDEO 013 IS MY DIVISION!!!!

  • you are in this video? Is bootcamp relatively close to this video.. i'm gonna join this year.. how was bootcamp like man?

  • honestly its hella easy dont even stress about it. the worst part is p-days (ur first week there) then after that all u do is do what ur told. all boot camp does is teach u how to fold ur uniforms lol

  • I think you should totally join. It has it's stressful part too. This video brings back so many memories...lol.

  • bad memories...

  • This is the boot camp I graduated from. Nice.

  • There is only one Navy boot camp.

  • @DavidAllen220

    Everybody graduates from here
