Who says.....there is no such thing....as corn pone...doo wop...rofl.rofl..rofl.rofl... geat posting....very early Dickey Lee. Little known and now obscure but a great example of Dickey before Patches etc. jeffs45rpm fiftys4ever!
It's amazing how Patches was even a hit as compared to many other tunes Dickey did like, Me And My Teardrops, Mother Nature, Dream Boy, etc. I Go Lonely was a knockout, I can't figure.
Thanks a lot Doo wopper for the request this is an upbeat song very energetic, fun and uplifting///!!!what a guitar!!!!thanks!!!!!!should have been a hit if released in the 1960's was ahead of its time!!!!

Your very welcome! Actually this was released in May of 1958 & yes, it sounds more like a 61-62 tune! Dickey got ripped off on this one!

Payola held many artists hostage. Alan Freed & D. Clark got caught, check it out, it's all over the net. By the way, thanks & your welcome!
