Pretty much the new Simpsons, South Park, Family Guy and just about every TV comedy made in the last decade in a nutshell. Even Futurama is slowly heading this way, but at least it's still better than most.

Yes, South Park is pretty much this, but not as funny. The stupid "You're Getting Old" episode, not to mention everything after that, was just a bunch of unwatchable, failed attempts at satire.

Though sometimes I think Trey and Matt are getting bored of the show, which would explain why some people think the quality has drpped. "You're Getting Old" was a clear sign.
