Natural hair is the most beautyful and most diffent hair out there. All our hair is so different and that makes us special. So give us ladies some slack.
I am natural and I do not straighten my hair, but I will wear a straight wig or weave whenever I choose to. The same way I might decide to wear heels one day. So don't make ASSumptions when you see a black woman with fake hair. She might be wearing it to protect her real hair and/or simply as a fashion statement.

I'm transitioning from the Creamy crack. However, Relaxers and weave are more for ease than it is about looking European. I've had chemically relaxed hair since age 9. My hair was really thick and being "tender-headed" is difficult to even deal with. I feel bad for those who don't embrace their natural beauty however, it's is not about looking a certain way to feel beautiful!

When I would walk down the street with these light skinned friends, the black girls would swoon over them and literally throw themselves at these guys.
