Hello Sir. Hope you are doing well. This song is really to my surprise. It is missing in the LP vinyl & also on any CD. I believe the singer has a voice bit thinner than of Geeta's. This could be singer from named "Manjoo". She had at least two songs for Naushad in Rattan. "Angdai Teri Hai Bahana" and "Jhoote Hain Sab Sapne Suhane". These are the only 2 songs of the lady I have ever heard. It sounds like Manjoo. Also, Geeta had only ONE song to her name for Naushad & it was in Son of India.

No intention of fooling others. It is against my nature. Of course there was confusion about the singer. I have verified, listened to it repeatedly and it sounds as Geeta Dutt. I am since corrected.

This part of the song is definitely sung by Geeta Dutt. The full version is sung by Shyam and Suraiya. Geeta Dutt has only sung this part for Naushad in her whole career and this part of the song is not available on the record and only found in the movie soundtrack. The singer Shyam is also not the same as the hero of the movie and is a different person altogether. He sang for quite a few Kardar movies under the baton of Naushad.

singer is shyam kumar.the hero is shyam on the screen. shyam kumar was a villain n can b seen in early 50s movies including jadoo n dullari

Most of the viewers mention the singer as Geeta Dutt. For me also it sounds accordingly.
