I agree for the most part, but I have a business degree. Business degrees are some of the most useful degrees. Most people with business degrees can find a decent paying job. I waited tables in LA through college. Most of my coworkers had degrees in English, history or psychology. Those are what I would consider to be "soft degrees", along with women's studies and various ethnic studies programs.
