@f00tballfever - this is a known bug that was fixed in 2.1.4. However, you'll need to uninstall the current version you have, and only then install 2.1.4 from Market.

It is really disappointing that for an entire year you've been telling people how you are working on symbian client and yet there isn't a trace of it (not even beta testing). Very, very disappointing. Must be corporate games that you lot are playing. From one side, NOKIA has released Symbian Belle and soon we will see release of Symbian Carla and Donna, and from the other side, VOiP clients such as Skype and Viber are NOT available for those (symbian) platforms.
Symbian poses some technological obstacles that we needed to overcome. As you can clearly understand, developing Viber for Symbian is not as easy as it is for iOS or Android.
We're doing our best so Viber for Symbian is ready as soon as possible, but we also want to make sure we release a finished product that's been properly tested for bugs and problems, so giving an exact release date is unfortunately not yet possible.
Please try removing Viber, wait 24 hours, reinstall and try again (make sure you try both the SMS and the automated call options). If this doesn't help, contact our support team at support.viber.com and give them the details of the problem.
We've been having some temporary glitches with our servers. We worked hard to fix it, and everything should be back to normal now. Please try it out and see if you still encounter problems.

@BellaFiducia - If you're using an iPhone, then unfortunately that is something we (Viber) cannot control. It is an Apple restriction that cellular calls always get higher priority than any 3rd-party application, so an incoming cell call will always interrupt a Viber call.
About Android - we're working on an option to ignore the cellular call and keep the Viber call going.

@BlackDahlia8222 - when you use Viber to call people who don't have Viber, the call simply switches to a normal, cellular call (through your provider, and has nothing to do with us). You will be charged the same way you would when making a regular call.

Currently, Viber's focus is on adding platforms, features and integrating with more platforms, as well as improving overall system performance. At the same time, we are working on additional premium services that will generate revenue once they become available. The basic Viber service - Viber to Viber phone calls and text messages - will ALWAYS be free.

We haven't thoroughly tested Viber on this specific device yet. You can check out our list of officially supported devices in our website.
However, in the meantime you can still download Viber from Market, try it out and we would be happy to receive your feedback on how it works on your device.
We are continuously working to adapt Viber to more and more devices.

We're doing our best so Viber for BB is ready as soon as possible, but we also want to make sure we release a finished product that's been properly tested for bugs and problems, so giving an exact release date is unfortunately not yet possible.

Is this a bug on the iPhone 4?., when i try to text message or call some one using viber, it says i dont have a internet connection..etc, but i am already connected to wi-fi, i restarted my iphone and its still showing the same thing? any fixes to this?

There was a temporary problem with our server that should be fixed by now. Please have both sides reboot their phones, and then test Viber again. If the problem persists, please let us know.

Yes, of course it will reach Symbian users. We are already at advanced levels of development by now, and we've devoted much resources into it. There's no doubt it will reach Symbian - we just explained that we still don't know when that'll happen exactly :)

how do i block other regular calls when i'm on a viber call? its so annoying, it takes u straight to the incoming call when ur already in one

@BellaFiducia - If you're using an iPhone, then unfortunately that is something we (Viber) cannot control. It is an Apple restriction that cellular calls always get higher priority than any 3rd-party application, so an incoming cell call will always interrupt a Viber call.
About Android - we're working on an option to ignore the cellular call and keep the Viber call going.

@halopro166 - if your phone does not support Bluetooth, then Viber cannot use Bluetooth itself naturally. Viber uses the phone's BT ability.

@halopro166 - Viber is a completely free service. We will not charge you anything for using it - registration, calls, texts, etc.
Please note, however, that Viber uses data on 3G (0.3MB per minute of call). Your cellular company could charge you for data usage if you don't have a data plan. On WiFi, however, it's completely free for sure.
