song actually samples Patrice Rushen's "remind me". very popular song to sample in the mid-90's especially around '95. look up whosampledwho and look up Patrice rushen. could see why it was a popular sample. was quite hot. some examples were Junior mafia's 'I need you tonight' ft. Aaliyah, to Mokenstef to Kut Klose's 'Keep On' to Faith Evan's 'fallin in love' (this one got a lot of airplay in '95). Also R. Kelly and Public announcement "Born into the 90's from 1991.

@SpankRamen2 I was 13 too! Nuff respect to all the 80s babies. We came up@ a good time. We managed to witness the last two golden decades of music (mainstream wise anyway). It was downhill from the late 90s. Still some amazing acts out there but not so easy to find/hear with radio in the condition it is etc etc. Thankfully the web comes to the rescue but still...
