also umschauen kann man sich mit der Maus, bei gedrückter Leertaste... sich im cockpit bewegen (oder auf dem Flughafen herumlaufen), geht nur mit einer zusätzlichen software.. (payware) EZCA (nur FSX) oder DB Walk&Follow... die Tastaturbefehle für "sich umschauen" kenn ich jetzt nicht auswendig, sind aber in den settings verzeichnet.. oder aber auf dem Kniebrett... ;)

Is the Air France A340 the freeware model from simviation?

well, it's the freeware model by Thomas Ruth... I m pretty sure, they have it at simviation, too...

hahah... well, I m pretty satisfied with this model.. it has a virtual cockpit which is quite ok, and a very impressive shine on the outer surface.. unfortunately, the A340 used in this vid, has only default sound from the B737.. but I have another A340 with Olympic Airlines livery, which has an impressive engine sound...

I'll see if I can install the sound on the AirFrance model...

@ateh1 I have almost the same set up! Just need a 4870 which is like $200 more. Its about $30 more expensive than the gtx 260. Which one should I get? The 4870 or gtx 260? Its for FSX.

to be honest, I've never used nVidia cards... since I've bought my first pc, I always had ATI cards, and I never had any problems with them.. but nVidia cards are more expensive and I hear people saying, nVidia creates better cards than ATI..

so.. I really couldn't say.. but I've heard a lot of good things about one of ATI's latest releases... the HD-5870.. I really think of buying that someday..

@ateh1 lol, ATI HD-5870 is like $400 CAD, no way would my parents let me buy that and if I were to get a $400 graphics card, I think it would be a GTX 480. So yeah, oh well! Thanx for the advice!

I tend to use very little traffic.. too much traffic eats the framerate, like nothing else..

Hey ateh1 great video. By any chance have you seen any weird problems in the cockpit of the DC10 with the dashboard instrument panel. Like see through some of the gages. If so did you fix it. Thank you. Im have hell trying to get this thing to follow its course and keep the altitude too.

yes.. it's a Thomas Ruth model.. I love his Airbus models, but they are mostly not framerate friendly.. at least on my pc.. :) but still.. the best freeware models for Airbus by far...

it's the EZdok camera.. with that I am able to move it like that.. but when it's set too smooth, it's not easy to control the camera movement.. finding the right middle is a win... :)
