I hate people comin on youtube posting comments "you young kids don't know nothing about this. Your music sucks, hip hop is dead". HIP HOP IS NOT DEAD FOOLS, it got better. If radio is your determination of whether or not hip hop is dead than you're a fool for using that as your only tool. Hip hop has gotten soo much better than these weak one syllable rhyming old school cats. I respect them for what they did but let's be real: hip hop HAS evolved and gotten better.
@yewtoobdewd You're so right. People like NaS, Rakim, KRS-One - they're still existent. There are hundreds, maybe thousands of potentially massive MCs at rap battles (just search underground rap battles). It's just people like Flo Rida, Pitbull and new-school Eminem weren't around 10+ years ago.
@Legendism360 Right but I was merely commenting on Ignorance. You can sit in denial all you want but the truth is hip hop IS better and has evolved into more complex flows, rhyming and content. To compare the average Atlanta radio heavy group one hit wonder to an iconic legend is foolish. Rappers nowadays would run circles around these symplistic old school rhymes. Wake up people hip hop is NOT dead. Don't go lookin for your wife at a strip club and wonder why you're single. ughh.com
God that is why you Tube is the bomb I type in the search window KRS-1/dUCK dOWN and what do you know here it is!! I can't believe it this song is just GREAT!!!!! as you can see only 2 of us commented but I am so glad that it was posted I used to listen to it over and over oh wait it just cut off any way great song!
