@knoxode3 you can't buy his t blades anywhere. at least not the boots, the blades are available. t blades are not good in terms of durability, you need to buy new ones when they aren't sharp enough anymore

But they are agile and very sharp, but if you're tired of t blades and you want to switch to standard skates you will have a hard time. -> check the skye interview's

Such an inspiring video I started skating a year ago basically just learning to freestyle and left my blades blunt for at least 6 months at a time. Brought myself some bauer x60's last week got them sharpened and have started trying to learn some of skyes moves they are so fun :P then again i've watched this video probably 100 times now lol gotta try it all xD

Skye has both a scary and cool skating style, I like how it looks like he's out of control half the time.

Never been very happy with the standard hockey style, figure or even Dan Percival's Extreme but I reckon I'm going to replicate Skye's style for my own use :D

Which skates is he using?

The one with t-blades are inlines, the CCM externo Outcasts. Skye says they're the best skates in the world. They're almost impossible to find. The one with the yellow laces are Graf 701's. Skye says these skates have a narrow heel so they hurt and he doesn't use them that often. I have 735's and those hurt my heels too. Emma's the only one that thinks they don't. >:[ And the third pair are Bauers, I think they're the first generation Vapors, but I'm not sure about that. Ricky might know.

Thx, I want to buy something in a near future. Now I am using NikeBauer Vapor, the simplest model. I am thinking about NikeBauer Supreme or maybe RBK with pump. But if he is able to do what is he doing.. that means that they are not so bad(vapor). If somebody has any expierience with RBk Pump skates that would be nice to hear about it. And the last question, is he tying his skates on all wholes? ( I am feeling more comfortable when I leaving the last 2 pairs, but then stability is a litle worst)

Can't help you, nobody I know uses a RBK skate, except for Emma, but she uses inlines coverted to ice skates. Last time she was here she was saying they hurt and bought a used pair of ccm externos.

As for the holes, I'm not sure. I'll have to ask Skye about that next time I see him. I thought he wore his skates a bit loose around the ankles and didn't lace them all the way to the top.

Danica! You skating this Saturday? I'm going in the morning time. As for the editing, the software I used has 'event velocity' that can be used to slow down or speed up the video down to the second. Now before anybody out there believes I manipulated Skye to such a degree it's phony, I only had to speed him up in two of the clips for him to match the music. the first was at 1:39 and the second was at 3:53 , both involved him rotating. Even then it was only for a second.

I don't think it's impossible too do, there are some guys that are doing it on other videos after seeing Skye. Type in - XISTH - At random - on the youtube search engine. Now, attempting to look as good as Skye doing that move, I'd say that's sort of impossible. Skye does it both with and without t-blades, but I'd say gloves are pretty necessary.
