Really? Cool. I didn't know that. I must say the smell was far better than in years past. Is this a recent change or have they always ran on methanol?
They have been running methanol for quite a long time. Several trucks have continued to burn race gas for a while though but I'm pretty sure that they all use methanol. Perhaps the engines are better tuned as well.

Actually the methanol fuel that the monster trucks burn puts out less carbon monoxide emissions.
