Hello - I am following your project from Caifornia. With regard to output torque on your propeller shaft, while propeller is thrusting: Perhaps mechanical inefficiency could be reduced to improve flying results. I think a chain-driven bicycle suffers 10% loss, so your device may suffer 20 or even 30% mechanical loss. Very good effort, I hope you continue the work! Joel McMinn

Hello - I am following your project from Caifornia. Have you measured output torque on your propeller shaft, while propeller is thrusting? Perhaps mechanical inefficiency could be reduced to improve flying results. I think a chain-driven bicycle suffers 5-10% loss, so your device may suffer 20 or even 30% mechanical loss.

Try a Simonini Mini2 or Black Devil. You'll need cage to protect your lines. Oh, I know! Try PPG, you'll love it. They even have electric motors now! Looks interesting though.
