  • Grüss aus Georgien.Lang lebe Tscherkessien

  • Lol Georgia is Osetia and apxazia is Georgia. I think map error

  • Sorry but this history is fake. there are many maps and things in video what is total fake. Abkhazia never was part of Circassia. Abkhazia always was part of Georgia. second. Alania never was in North Caucasus. this is a mith of Ossetians. third is that Circassians never had borders and independent country in all history. but i agree in one that russians made genocide and they should pay for it.

  • Dolmen Culture is Not Adigyghe,is it idea

  • Legend caucassus

  • Love it :) Thank you / Dankeschön.

  • danke für dieses tolle Video:)

  • Adiga and Abkhaz !!!

  • Was für ein Alphabet verwenden die Tscherkessen beim schreiben?

  • Die arme Satenay wurde die Frau von Ivan der Schreckliche, wie schrecklich.

  • there is Last name ''Temrukova'' and ''Temrukovi''.. ''ov'' ''ova'' this is Rusian end oF surname

in XVI century.. you think that in north Caucasus.. there was people by Russian surnames?..

    lol..

  • there wasn't. but the tradition of putting the father name after the first name is russian and for that reason is pronounced the russian way since circassians didnt practice it at all.

  • yes....

  • sesi adiges and i´m proud

  • sabirajt

Neither the Hattis nor the Hittites were related to Mesopotamians, set aside calling them Mesopotamian tribes. Having trade relations with peoples from Mesopotamia, doesn't make you one of them. Hattis were an indigenious people of Asia Minor - which is not part of Mesopotamia.

  • Oh i understand, this is what the film about - how hattis are related to mesopotamia.

  • said he couldn't, he resigned from the army and Mustafa kemal ataturk declared he was a traitor to turkey and exiled him(it is very controversial that he exiled turkey's greatest hero)but when his name was rightfully cleared it was too late. anyways there are now a substantial amount of circassian towns in greece.

  • "there are now a substantial amount of circassian towns in greece"

I've been to Greece, and I haven't seen or heard about such towns there. The only thing Greeks know about Circassians is the "Circassian Beauty", as we noticed during our visit...

  • i would not know about what the greeks know or say, all i know is from a history book about them. the ottomans relocated many adige because they were muslim to christians spots to counter the christians who were rebelling but the adige knew what it was like to loose freedom so they helped greece, it is said they settled down but maybe they are not known as adige anymore or maybe they left, i cannot say.

  • PS: Cerkez Ethem, actually Ethem Bey, wasn't a general/pasha in the Ottoman army. Rauf Orbay, Ali Fuat Cebesoy, Yusuf Izzet Pasha, Albay Bekir Sami and many other were, but he wasn't. He was an efe or so to speak an abrek. Unlike the others, he didn't know the rules of the game of power,so he paid for that. He lost, when the others won. Brain is more important than a brave heart.

  • ...To be precise, only intellectual Greeks know her. Other than that, Greeks hardly know anything about our people. Those Circassians you mention, they must be Christianized, I guess; for all Muslims of Greece have beeen exchanged with Anatolian Orthodox Christians as an requirement of the Lausanne Treaty...

  • ... Excluded were Orthodox Christians of Istanbul, Bozcaada and Gökceada; and Muslims of Western Thrace and the 12 islands. I don't think that there are Circassians among those Muslims who stayed in Greec, as the Lausanne Traety makes Turkey their legal protector. Turkey wouldn't want to protect the rights of "traitors".

  • Addition: By Orthodox Christians I mean Greek Orthodox Christians.

  • that must be true then, i do not know all to well about the greeco-turk wars or relations,by the way are you adige diaspora in greece?

  • Unfortunatly we have been waiting for the English version for a LOOOONGGGG TIME:) :) Is it going to be during this life time?

  • Try telling that to all the violent people there who don't want this.

  • OK Boss, I do it!

  • What you're suggesting is a pipedream. With the egos and nationalist attitudes most Caucasians possess, that is nearly impossible. Perhaps if a loose confederation based on political and/or economic interests was establish, groups could join that instead. Otherwise... lol

  • OK, that's your choice:-) hahaha

  • greeks and circassians go hand in hand. both races are very old and circassians took part in the ancient greek olympics, the white ring represents circassians. I know this becasue a circassian bone has been found that dates farther than 5,000 years. Also, Athenians and Shapsug's had very stong trade connections and circassians helped fight for greek independance, i have respect for greeks as both our cultures are very old and greeks are good people.

  • "...and circassians helped fight for greek independance,.."

Please explain... Never heard of it.

  • the circassian population living in the balkans and greece( whom were placed there by the ottoman empire after the war and genocide in 1864) were used by the ottomans to put down rebelion there but then they stood up and helped these regions get there independace and a famous circassian general in the ottoman empire named cerkes ethem refused to kill the greeks but also didn't join them because he would have to fight his old friends. The greeks offered to make him there first president but he

  • post a link to your map, please

  • Wonderful work, can't wait for the English version to come out hehe ;)

  • so what is our origin then? where we came from?

  • our origin is the caucassus. we have been their longer than the greeks have been in greece. it is our motherland.

  • nice video. i never found such detailed information about the Tescherkesen. I've heard that there were old relations to the germans language. good work

  • German language? very interesting! i heard only of the relation with the Bask's language. nice to know :)

  • i checked it. I was wrong with the relations to the german language. it were the dagestani language which had old relation to the ostrogoths. those ostrogoths were relatives of the teutons in germany.

So your language has similarities with the bask language same as the georgians? then the tscherkessen must be a very old ppl :-)

  • well, the average life expectancy is 75 ;)lol

how old should we be to qualify? hehehe

anyway, yes, the anscestors of tscherkess are dated 5000 years back

  • i don't know about that the elders in my family live past 85...nice video, thankyou.

  • @tompinoyger Circassians, Vainakhs, Dagestanian-Caucasian tribes and Georgians have the general origins!
