the weakening of earths magnetic field could be very harmful, the solar flares that could hit the earth are repelled by our magnetic field , if the magnetic field were very weak or non existant ,the sun could batter the earth with radiation......a deep underground shelter would be the only hope for most people ,and mostve the large shelters have been built in the last 20 yrs....the Denver airport is an example, time will tell

@PoketsOfagenius Earths magnetic feild has allways been flipping for billlions of years, you can see this evidence in old pottery from when they bake it, so i dont think the "Flipping of the magnetic field" has ever had a affect on us befor because we have never noticed it, so i wouldent worry.

Hold them apart just were you can feel them pull or repell each other. Hold one still, while rotating the other. You would feel them push and pull. The sun's magnetic field is hundreds of times stronger than Earth's. The sun's field is connected to all the planets in the inner solar system. Perhaps these forces could!
